Nope. I like the image that will kill us. It's just better that way.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAgreed. The one at the bottom can stay too.
^ AGAHSADAGA CURSE YOU!
I have a message from another time...Nothing wrong with High Octane Nightmare Fuel being a self demonstrating page.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOh yeah. Not for the faint of heart...

Speaking as the one who made this thread, it was a joke. I don't seriously want to remove the image.
I have a message from another time...Has any other picture been described (even in jest) as too fucking scary for a goddamn High Octane Nightmare Fuel page?
I didn't say that it was too scary, the joke that it would quite literally come to life and kill us all.
I have a message from another time...^I'm not seeing a problem with that.

Man there's no problem with it. It was a joke.
I have a message from another time...@Gabriel: The Spongebob Squarepants pic is a common recipient of that accusation, actually.

Speaking as the person who added the image to the bottom of the page on a whim one night, I personally think it's more effective as-is rather than requiring a click.
What do people think? I'm happy to leave it as it is now, I'd just like to hear people's opinions.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars."What do people think?"
I think nobody said it should be changed.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Can we please get a lock on this?

Oh, I know it perfectly illustrates the trope, inspires fear and paranoia, and generally is the perfect image for the page, but do you think we could find a picture that won't kill us?
