Question: think they're going to do a Beast Boy/Terra romance here? Or has that been overdone, in your opinion?
Hasn't he said he has no plans to resurrect Wally?
Is Greg known to be a Lying Creator?
I do remember that thought. Both Bart and Conner got revived during Legion of 3 Worlds. It was a double whammy of returns.

One Strip! One Strip!x2 I think right now Garfield needs to focus on getting help for his trauma. Plus it's not like he and Perdita are going through a rough patch, they just haven't been able to see each other much because they've both been so busy.
I like how Terra's character went in a different direction last season, so I'd be all for her and Beast Boy just staying teammates and friends.
I actually thought he'll go back on his martians are not dead angle with this arc but it seems like it isn't.

He said he has no plans to resurrect Wally. That's not a no, that's a case of Exact Words if ever I saw them. It could have already been prepared by that point or something, and thus wouldn't be a plan. They keep bringing back his VA after all.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. It's not explicit for YJ, but Weisman has been open with his dislike of how he dislikes killing characters as far back as Gargoyles.
It makes sense, if you kill a character, you generally can't use them again.
On the other hand: Tula, Ocean Master... Or do they not count because they aren't important enough?
Those guys are like barely in the show...
Ocean master is the only original light member that never even got a proper villain episode in season one. Lol.
Weisman doesn't really kill recurring heroes and villains with poor Wally being the expexfion. But more minor characters are fair game.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Fun fact: Issues 14 and 15 of the tie-in comic, which had Ocean Master as the main villain, were originally supposed to be the main plot of "Downtime", but I think higher-ups rejected the story since it didn't have enough action or something. It was replaced by the Black Manta story instead.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).And subsequently, Manta proved more popular that he just replaced him in the show.
Not complaining since he's one of DC's coolest bad guys and I've always adored the guy.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Wonder if the Aquaman movie did anything for Orm's cred, or something.
Wake me up at your own risk.New interview with Weisman and Vietti. Just them answering questions about this season so far.

It seems more like he's selective of when he kills a character off, but doesn't shy away from it or over use it.

Edit 2: Tomorrow's episode will be the first episode written by Brian Hohlfeld. As mentioned, Greg Weisman wrote a little Transformers Rescue Bots (a show he co-created), and he's (Brian) worked with Nicole Dubuc (his wife) on many projects.

Remember back in Season 1 how the team had this psychic simulation of an alien invasion and M'gann kind of had a bad reaction and hijacked the simulation? At the end of the episode, Martian Manhunter said that M'gann had the most powerful psychic abilities he's ever seen. I don't think the show has done anything with that plot point since, unless that is related to her ability to painfully extract information from a person while breaking their brains. I don't know if that's something, say, Martian Manhunter could do, but doesn't, or if M'gann is the only one who can do it.

Episode 5 came out.
I like that they showed Cassandra Savage from the side on the poster in order to not spoil that she lost an arm.
Always a big fan of the dynamic among Roy Harper and his clones. It's especially nice to see Red Arrow has become so well adjusted after how broken he seemed at the end of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2, and original recipe Roy/Arsenal is certainly better off now than when he was a prisoner of the Light.
This show allowed us to have dad Roy and much better Emo Roy at the same time.
Especially when you remember how awful this rise of arsenal plotline was in the comics.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Now, I'm not saying Artemis and Conner weren't friends, but I do not remember a single scene they had together, or them ever exchanging any dialogue.
Well, she had that crush on him for a bit. But it was always obvious that wasn't going anywhere and that Connor/M'gann and Artemis/Wally was what was going to happen.
Oh fuck right it was Bart Allen who was resurrected in the Legion during Final Crisis.
Maybe thats how Wally will come back.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
