This season was pretty good imho. Especially the way it basically took the piss out of Batman's methods without outright demonizing him.
Disgusted, but not surprisedFor fun I figured this might be a fitting song on Darkseid scoring the Anti-Life Equation.
The Transformers movies may be terrible for the most part but they do have a good soundtrack, even in the worst film.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well mostly on the YJ subreddit. Every day there's a new post about how this season isn't that good. Almost as common as posts asking when Wally is coming back.
Post-finale interview, so SPOILER WARNING.
I think you guys might be happy that we're getting more focus on the OG squad (plus Halo and presumably Cyborg) next season.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).So some posts on a subreddit then......... alright sure seems legit.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah I still think the first season was the best, this is much better than season two.
Anyone else think the latest member of the Light is kind of...redundant? He basically fulfills the same kind of role as Queen Bee, and with weaker powers to boot.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHe does provide indirect control of a powerful country that is also becoming a metahuman superpower. Hey, he might've asked for a seat in The Light in exchange for that.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Yeah but he is not the known head of a rogue nation. You can actually see the influence of his powers several times in the first three episodes.
From my experience, Reddit conversations tend to skew pretty negative in general. I'm not sure I'd take it as a reliable indicator of how the fandom views the season. Especially if they're complaining about stuff like Wally not being back, which is not really much of a legitimate criticism.
I still think season 1 is by far the worst one. I don't get why it tends to be upheld as the best. It's very poorly paced compared to the later ones, moving ahead at a snail's pace where the villains' plot takes fucking forever to unfold or the main story to even progress in any way. I find most of the main characters in that season pretty uninteresting or unlikeable as well. In hindsight, it's easy to see their immaturity as setting up a contrast to all the growing up they would do, but still... Wally in particular is just not fun to hang around, and his romance with Artemis is wildly unconvincing.
Ain't you heard about Slow-Paced Beginning? The crew was finding its footing in S01. Just about most shows struggle to find their path at the beginning, then after a while, the fun starts.
You just made me mad.

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Sure, but I don't think it's executed particularly well in season one. To each their own. I don't think the season does a good job at rewarding the kind of patience it requires of the viewer. The plot takes forever to get going, and when it finally does, the pay-off is meager. And while you're waiting for things to go anywhere between a plethora of filler episodes, you're saddled with a largely unlikeable or bland main cast of characters who only start to improve very close to the end.
Hell, a lot of the overused Young Justice clichés that people tend to criticize or poke fun of (notably every episode ending with the Light proclaiming how everything has gone according to plan, or the overuse of catchphraises) are only really features of the first season, largely excised or toned down in the following two.
That's not to say I think the first season is bad; I just think it's distinctly the weakest of the three.
Time for me to be super-smug about me calling it.
Terra didn't go full villain! I fucking called it! Didn't see the part about Brion coming though, but I still called it about Terra! So... Terra x BB romance when?
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.3 is the best season, I agree. While I think season 1 is better structured than the second season, I maintain that's entirely due to it having more episodes.
Do we have a details on the when the next season is coming though?
Also when did the team dealt with Black Adam? And in the speech about "heroes falling", they mentioned Vandal Savage. Did they discover his backstory?

Black Adam was part of the Injustice League that the team had to face back in Season 1. He was then apparently conscripted by Kylstar in the follow-on comics.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Oh right, I forgot about that mini Legion of Doom thing.
Likely late next year or even early 2021, since they apparently "just started" working on it. Scripts are being done and storyboard revisions start December, according to Christopher Jones.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).IMO I liked s2 way better than s3. It took forever to get the Outsiders Team, and it feels like the pacing was rushed in some places and slow in others, with way too many dangling plot threads. S2 felt like it was keeping on target with the same plot and had at least focused on a few story lines, even if there were quite a few characters. S3 felt like they kept on adding stuff they liked and tried to juggle it but resulted in a tangled mess.
So, considering this season's episode titles spelled the acronym "PREPARE THE ANTI-LIFE EQUATION", what's the betting we get another acronym that teases the season's focus?
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. When Beast Boy was fighting Granny, he turned into this monkey creature that seemed to shock or upset Granny for some reason, and I'm not sure why.
I'm not totally clear on the reason why Savage wanted Darkseid to know he was behind the attack on the Orphanage. I I don't see what he gained from doing that, and it didn't lead to the two of them splitting up, so I'm not sure what the pint was.
Season 4 will most likely be about superhero registration and Infinity Inc.
A previous episode revealed that Beast Boy's powers are from some kind of green monkey deity. My guess is Granny is aware of this creature and thought that was what Beast Boy transformed into.
Im pretty sure it was just to get Granny punished for bringing in Darkseid when she didn't get her way to have Violet.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I thought Garfield shifted into a gorilla that sort of resembled Granny. He was basically taunting her.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).
I honestly agree. I don't know if I liked it better than season one, but I enjoyed it more than two. It had a better balance between characters and plot, and it actually had some levity over season two's constant bummer. Plus, I think this season finale was way stronger than one and two's.
