In SMT 2? It's everything. Satan decides that since he exists to bring judgment on the wicked, he necessarily has to judge YHVH and finds him wanting. The inciting incident is the the mass murder though, iirc.

Apparently, that's the original script, but the Aeon translation changed things so Satan brings up the genocide as God's crime.
Even tho Satan was totally on board with the genocide because it also got rid of the demons.

@Red Hunter: Who said such things, because I’ve also heard false claims about how Aeon Genesis made Lucifer look better as well, while the Visionary Items added by Altus later refuted that and were consistent in portraying him as heroic but flawed.

We might have heard them from the same sources on Reddit, because I also heard that SMT 2 Lucifer is made to look better.
IE: Like how supposedly, in the original chaos ending, Lucifer mentions that the mutants and the Tokyo Millennium people are fighting to the death.

Ah yeah definitely false claims then, especially as the Visionary Items even emphasize that Mutants are weak and survive in Makai by Lucifer’s compassion(and said Mutants gave Hiroko shelter) or Lucifuge freaking out about the economy potentially collapsing cause Lucifer is liberating so many slaves from Millenium.
Or how one the Neutral Visionary Items Lucifer admits to his actual mistakes.

Something I noticed on a second viewing of the Tao tweet: apparently Turbo-Granny is a Foul in Vengeance rather than a Rumor.
I don't think pointing to new content from rereleases means anything. As we all know from the Atlus Rerelease epidemic, the new content they add can very easily be done by different writers or just not gel with the original work tonally or thematically.
The thing is that it’s just there to reinforce what’s already in the original game. That’s the point of the Visionary Items in I and II. They don’t change the characterization or anything.
Just as everything in the Visionary Items in I were consistent with Lucifer being villainous and manipulative but expanding that to show it extended to Lucifer manipulating Lilith as well in the Visionary Items, SMT 2 Visionary Items what’s already there by revealing how far it actually goes with their more noble version of Lucifer in II. That’s a big part of why you can tell the claims about Aaron Genesis altering Lucifer and Chaos in SMT 2 is bs.

It's a pretty neat trailer, especially since we get to see some returning demons and maybe some new ones as well. Mastema being back makes me particularly happy.
Can I saw how much I love Eisheth's animations? That one move she uses on the Nahobino in the trailer looks fantastically creepy.
Also, it looks like (spoilers for base game) we get a Nahobino form that seems to take after Tsukuyomi?
