"You're going to reason with the fucking things that are here in this place that probably are working for the creatures that kidnapped us here in the first place?? You can't reason with these things! So far there has been exactly one Nomad who hasn't been a complete psychopath so until something comes along and announces itself as being non-hostile, I'm going to fucking fight it!"

"Soldiers. Cease fire. Our ally over here has gone Section 8. I'm Captain Alex Mason, formerly of the United States Marine Corps. State your army."
He turned to Rey.
"So, with you, it's guilty until proven innocent?"

Raz smacked Mason across the face. "Cut that shit out! They aren't human! They don't even have fucking faces! Why do you think they'll listen to you?!"

Rey put his fingers to his temples, snarling something VERY unpleasant-sounding in Spanish.

"How do you fucking know Raz? Have you knowledge on their anatomy?"

"Will you all be quiet, for Primus' sake?" Ravage snapped, still glancing about in an effort to find the source of that noise. It was growing louder now, all-pervasive, and in the far distance he could see a faint flicker of silver light at either end of the corridor...

"THEY DON'T HAVE FACES!! HAVE YOU EVEN LISTENED TO THEM TALK!? THEY SHOT SPIKED CORDS AT ICARAX! I"M FAIRLY SURE THAT THEY'RE NOT HUMAN!"

"Count the amount of fucking humans in this group. And Icarax drew first blood."

Naoto face palmed and rubbed her eyes. It was starting to look like she was right before after all. They weren't going to get out of this alive if this kept up.

"Another word out of either of you, and I may forget to watch where I step. Now be quiet; I'm trying to listen."

The Doctor thinks. "But we all have faces. And they don't recognize your uniform or me. Can't be from Earth on any multiverse or my entire universe... Have we heard them speak?"

Rey glanced up at Ravage, frowning some, walking forward a bit, listening as well. "What is that...?"

Raz glared at Mason before walking a few feet away. He rubbed his temples in frustration. "We're going to die. Were going to die and Mason's an idiot." He mumbled to himself.

"Some fucking thanks I get." Mason mumbled.

—The whole entourage jerked, staring past the Challengers at whomever was powering down the hallway. Clicks, whines, and a single molten burble echoed as they all unslung the weapons which matched their uniforms. At the front, two of the soldiers in Kriegsmarine gear marched up, looking down at Mason with what was unmistakably German on their comm chatter.—

Mason was quickly thinking up any German he knew.
"Guten tag."

Rey smacked himself in the face, but didn't say anything.

Spriggan decided to wait things out. He gestured to Durant that things were, still okay for the meantime.

The Doctor slams his head on the wall.

The heavy footfalls continued until their owners stood just outside the visible sections of either end of the corridor, and then the noise gradually died down until the two newcomers—for indeed there were only two who could be seen, at any rate—drew to a halt at the edge of the shadows. Though it was almost impossible to discern any details about the new arrivals in the gloom, several things were clear. Firstly, they were humanoid; second, even though they were nowhere near Ravage's height, the two were large, hulking figures which stood at least ten feet in height, if not more.

They stood utterly still at the edge of the shadows, neither moving nor breathing, nor indeed making any kind of sound at all. Ravage wondered whether these intruders were automatons of some sort; it would certainly explain a few things...

Rey drew back a fist slightly, ready to throw an attack, but holding his ground for the moment, just watching to see what the creatures were going to do.

Omega winced as Eta's attack hit him dead on, and dobuly so as he realized that the other Nomads were moving in on his position to finish him off in a myriad of ways, but his resolve was not yet finished. Arcs of lightning sprang from his hands and danced across the room, striking anything they came in range with. Clearly he no longer cared about his weapon, his plan, anything- all that mattered to him now was blind, survivalist rage; and that rage was currently manifesting in his fervent desire to hurt his former protege; to make him suffer for everything that was befalling him.

"GYAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Eta roared out from the pain of the divine plasma the being fired off, hurting doubly so when he was actively eating away at Omega himself, thus taking in quite a bit of the attack directly into his own body. The pain was excruciating... and familiar.

The pain of being trained and rewritten.

The pain of losing yourself to the void.

The pain of past sins rushing to drown you.

The pain of being helpless as infinite tortures cut through your body.

The pain of being alone.

"Grt... sg....el..." Eta stubbornly dug in his tentacles deeper as the immense power lanced through his body, threatening to rip it apart at the seams. Already, he had to start eating away at his reserves to rapidly heal the areas being destroyed by Omega's wrath. Knowing that he didn't have long before he ran out of energy, he let loose and mercilessly pumped the strongest digestive magic he had into his former instructor, even as he was crying tears of blood and closing rapidly opening cuts that bloomed all along his body.

Kimimaro and Kisame stare at the partially-hidden massive figures.

"More Nomad inteference?" Kimimaro wondered.

—The kriegsmarine-gear-clad Militantiaries looked at each other, back to Mason, then grabbed the man by the shoulders, dragging him into their midst. Most of the things took aim at the shadowy minions, the comm chatter growing fainter. —
