(Jo Jolion New Chapter Spoiler)

Gee, Satoru, how come Araki lets you have TWO Rock Insects?

Dang, cool and tense chapter. Josuke going full Johnny. That break month is going to hurt.

I think that's the point where Josuke's abilities are starting to get too silly for me. The bubble reaching Tooru through the phone was definitely something alright.

Man, I can't wait to play as Tooru in a video game. Give him a "Calamity" meter that builds based on the opponent getting closer and attacking him, give him these two Rock Insects as special moves, and that's gonna be sick.

Nothing really stands out about Mark's opinions for Part 4 to me, at least compared to the other 3. That's the main reason I didn't comment about last week's video, but I find myself unable to add anything else except a general compliment to his delivery here either.

Would you all say Kaato applies to be counted as Out of Focus? She hasn't appeared in a LONG time, both chapters-wise and real time-wise.

I still really wonder what Araki plans to do with her, if anything at all considering we're pretty much at the last leg of Jojolion.

I'm thinking she'll make a return in the final arc starring Jobin as the main villain. On the chapter, I thought it was funny that Tooru said that Oblidi Oblida is not technically an insect because it doesn't have jointed legs or three body segments, LIKE DODODO DE DADADA WAS JUST A PERFECTLY NORMAL BUG!

Dunno if it's pure coincidence or not but I find it amusing for some reason that the comments are disabled on the song "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" The Beatles's YT channel.

Ooh, nice use of Paisley Park and Soft & Wet in combination there. Be a long aggravating wait til April as usual though.

Hold on, knowing what we now know about Rock Humans, what's up with the A. Phex Twins? Did their mom give birth to both of them and they both grew up in the same hornet's nest, or two nests near each other?

I am indeed. In the middle of the last episode right now.

Hey, Harajuku Station! I've been there before! It looks exactly like that, from what I remember. I'm just happy to see familiar sights. I spent a really good day with some new friends there. Didn't encounter any stand users, but I did see a bizarre coincidence (ran into someone that I know from the other side of the world).

A thought just occurred to me. We've seen how much Josuke freaks out when someone just insults his hair. But it never got damaged or messed up at all during DIU if I recall correctly.

Imagine how berserk he would be if an enemy had managed to slice/cut his hair during a battle.

Imagine if Love Deluxe could manipulate other people's hair (even to a lesser extent).

I hear there is a stand that can do that in the latest arc.

It's called Love Love Deluxe.

Not that it can only manipulate the hair of others, so while it has impressive utility, it's not much for combat.

Love Love Deluxe is a bit more complex than that: it can control other people's hair, as well as make hair grow from any surface and control that hair, though the hair it makes grow only lasts for as long as the user is within a certain radius of it.

You know, for being an anime-only fan (at least until I get to Steel Ball Run). I don't know how much this is seen as an unpopular opinion, but for as big as I am on JoJo, I genuinely consider Stardust Crusaders to be outright bad. Don't get me wrong, Kakyoin is my favorite character in the whole series, and even though I miss Hamon, I'm glad it introduced Stands to the series thanks to their versatility in DiU and Vento Aureo, but I will never get over how shittily Stardust Crusaders handled its pacing and narrative. Even considering the fact that DiU and Vento Aureo go on for longer, it feels like they're paced really well to keep me feeling invested, on top of the antagonists being given some additional depth to make them not seem unnecessary. In the case of Stardust Crusaders, though, its Stand of the Week formula, thanks to being unrefined, feels completely needless beyond Tarot Motifs, and it just led to so many pointless arcs in the first half. (Looking at you, Forever, Arabia Fats, and Mannish Boy) But honestly, while I found the first half a slog to get through, even though it handles the pacing a tad better, I'd argue that the Egypt Arc is actually worse than the Tarot Arc. Remember what I said about Kakyoin being my favorite JoJo character? He felt like the only thing keeping me invested in the Tarot Arc, so to see him get Put on a Bus during the Egypt Arc spelt bad news, as I spent every episode thinking, "When're they gonna bring Kakyoin back?" Admittedly, I did enjoy some of the Stand battles in the Egypt Arc, like N'Doul, Anubis, Mariah, and Daniel J. D'Arby, but if there was one thing I couldn't stand about the Egypt Arc besides the characters doing no favors for me without Kakyoin, it was how much it loved to make me feel sick to my stomach. I was pretty squicked out thanks to the likes of Forever's perversion and the ending to the Death 13 arc, but I'll never get over the amped-up Nausea Fuel in the Egypt Arc through the likes of Iggy and Alessi. Iggy made me sick every time he was on-screen with Polnareff or Joseph, whereas Alessi... I wanted to bleach my eyeballs. Mind you, while I thought the pacing got better in the Egypt Arc, I felt like it went downhill again once Pet Shop was defeated and Kakyoin came back, leading to Telence and Vanilla Ice being rather drawn-out, and me absolutely hating the outcome of the fight against DIO when remembering how Phantom Blood handled his fights. I know a lot of this seems conjectural, but that's why I'm asking... is hating Stardust Crusaders just a me thing? Because mind you, while I've been praising DiU and Vento Aureo for doing what Stardust Crusaders did but better, Battle Tendency is still my favorite part.
