If he killed him off then we wouldn’t have gotten those Fugo light novels which I heard are quite good.
So it worked out in the end for the most part.
Here’s hoping Fugo gets an appearance in the anime.
And again Araki actually did have a plan for Fugo, he just didn’t got through with it.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The light novels were good and manage to provide a genuine character arc for Fugo. Plus it had a character employ a genuinely clever tactic with his Stand. One of Fugo's teammates makes a big show of using his Stand and saying what it does. Later, it turns out he was flat out lying so that no one could figure out how his Stand worked.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireWas that the All Along the Watchtower guy? I remember him pretending to be a coward and then suddenly getting serious at the end.
Yeah. He acted like his Stand had divination abilities when it was actually a spy network he could seed into any playing card that also split any damage he took fifty-two ways between all of his cards.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireHuh I just found an audiobook for the Fugo light novel.

Nearly 5 hours, must be legit.
I recommend saving this for when the anime's over.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The dub of golden wind's looking preddy good.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Fugo was actually originally supposed to go with the gang, but remain loyal to the Boss as the mole. And then betray the boss in eleventh hour.
ASB actually rolls with this.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does....just dropping this in again. Apparently Last Survivor is...
a battle royale-type game
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yes. That was the premise presented in the first trailer.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireWhy didn't they called this Last Stand? It's right there, no better opportunity.
Just watched the latest episode before the new one.
Narancia should've listened to Bucciaratti, just sayin'
... And that's called jazz!Fugo was right.
Well, this is JoJo. Anyone Can Die here, after all.
... And that's called jazz!Mistah had the right idea not being #4
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm so excited for the possible new opening tomorrow.
I'll be disappointed if the first shot is that statue and the opening notes of fighting gold starts playing. I'm ready for the new one.
I thought there was no new episode this week.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah we have recap episode this week, and next week is new opening.
You know, watching some clips of Joseph interacting with his past self and all from EOH, I find myself curious as to how the Pillar Men would have dealt with Stands.
Not Ultimate Kars, who apparently could have hacked his way into having all Stands (Ultimate Lifeform and all), but just Regular Kars along with Esidisi and Wamuu.
I guess the biggest question is if a stand with more physical abilities hits a pillar man, will it just pulp their face, or will it's hand get eaten (and subsequently cripple the user).
Of course, a Hamon User with Hermit Purple wouldn't have that problem. In fact, while it's limited against other stands, it's the perfect ability for Hamon Warriors since it channels energy perfectly and basically gives them a way to send it across a distance without any big set ups.
One Strip! One Strip!Isn't it a thing that nothing except for other Stands can damage a Stand? So, the Pillar Men would've been able to hurt the Stand User, but their attacks would have no effect on the Stands themselves, even ignoring that Stands are also invisible to everyone except Stand users.

Urf the disappointment when I woke up and saw it was a recap...sigh.
I was at least hoping it would have a fun framing device for the recap, like both Avatar shows did. Instead, it was just the narrator telling us the story as we know, and it wasn't even all that corehent because all it did was establish plot points without really showing us why they were important or what happened after.
The recap was announced last week.
Are you surprised at this?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Feels good to be finally caught up.
I always heard hearsay from before how Part 5 was the lamest, but I'm really enjoying it.
That's because the lame part comes at the end.
Araki just usually kills his characters off when they don't serve much of a purpose anymore or in Advol's case, pretend to kill him off and then bring him back while putting Kakyion in the hospital until the finale when he knock both of them off to show how serious the stakes are.
The only time he really has useless, dead-wight characters that don't contribute much to the plot is the back half of Part 4. (Seriously, Mikitaka and Yuya added nothing to DIU and just wasted time.)
This on the other hand just feels like "Crap, I don't know what to do with Fugo really anymore so I'll just have him leave?" He should just let him get killed off by Diavolo then if he didn't have the heart to make him an enemy to his friends.
