Not too hard to figure though based on .
Last Golden Wind episode featured a nice example of Hard-to-Light Fire.
…I didn't remember this fight to be this epic, but the anime sure did a good job of reminding me.
It really does feel like David is upping their game every part.
It’s pretty incredible, makes me very excited for the future parts.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I never saw the manga of this so when Narancia started burning everything around him, I thought he seemed quite cool.
In this fight, I saw in Narancia a certain mindset that often pops up in Shonen: a character is usually quite incapable with schoolwork such as with Narancia's gross mathematics bugger-up but when it comes to a fight, they can be as sharp as a tack.
Also, before Narancia slaughtered Formaggio, I had him pegged as an urchin because he didn't seem to be schooled but if he was in school until he was ten, which is a presumption, how did he get back into school half a decade later? What grade can he possibly be in now?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Who knows, but I get now why he looks so much younger than the members he's actually older than.
He was malnourished for at least a year. It explains so much.
And yeah, Narancia is one of those types who's lacking in formal education, book smarts and most other kinds of common sense, but put him in a fight and his sudden spike of intelligence will cut you like a damn knife.
One Strip! One Strip! Also, his knife will cut you like a knife.
Jojo always goes further than I expect it to. I let out an audible "Oh, my god!" when the spider actually bit Naracia in the neck.
This was a great end to a great fight.
Part V is just so good. Everything between here and the Its Raining Snails section of Part VI is pretty aces.
^ehhh man in the mirror isn't that great and the endgame of part 5 is highly contestable.
also the planet waves/survivor/dragon's dream/yo-yo ma/green baby stretch is by far the worst Jojo stretch of fights in the manga. A complete slog to get through with some of the worst stands araki's ever done. David has their work cut out for them in making those fights actually enjoyable.

Planet Waves was a good one. Survivor didn't take panel time. Dragon's Dream was utterly incomprehensible but this might be the translation's fault. Yo-yo Ma was undeniably bad but it lead to the Jolyne vs Pucci handcuff fight, which might be her best moment.
I kinda like Planet Waves/Survivor/Dragon's Dream though...
... And that's called jazz!I just reread Man in the Mirror and it was pretty good.
Planet waves dragged on and westwood was a lousy character(admittdly the anime should make the fight scenes a lot more fun, though the stand's concept is still clumsy). Survivor was whatever, dragon's dream is the boogie woogie feung shui(aka the worst cowboy bebop episode) of Jojo, yo-yo ma is one of the worst stands ever, and green baby was a dumb plot point entirely.
I did like marilyn manson and jailhouse lock as fights though.

Yoyo Ma is in fact the single best Stand ever, check your facts.
Planet Waves and Dragon's Dream both rule.
I agree with this.
I always found Jailhouse Lock particularly terrifying, to be honest. To go through your day being incapable of knowing nothing more than what you started with plus the last three things you learn beyond that.
You can see in that arc how much that messed with Jolyne, and if I remember right Emporio couldn't escape a life threatening situation because escape was too much to process.

Yeah, he was being slowly electrocuted to death.
Which, in hindsight, was kind of weird because what he remembered was:
1. I spilled my water.
2. I have to pull the plug.
3. It's running electricity through the door.
4. If I go through the door, I can meet Jolyne. (Erases Memory #1.)
Wouldn't he still remember he'd need to pull the plug? Unless being electrocuted immediately made him realize he was being electrocuted because he spilled his water.
I haven't read Stone Ocean, but Jail House Lock sounds really terrifying when used against you.
It is a very unsettling ability, yes.
The stand itself looked bizarre too, and miu miu wearing a brain sweater was uhhhh bizarre lol.
I hope Narancia haters will finally start appreciating the guy after watching Little Feet.
