I really liked his delivery on "Dick! I knew you were a stingy son of a bitch but this takes it to a new level!" in the Italian Food episode.
A little late to chime in on it, but my sentiments line up with Vertigo's on the original Soft Machine being one of the weakest ones from Vento Aureo. That the animated adaptation manages to make it a lot more thrilling and enjoyable makes me happy.
Main thing I wanted to talk about was Moody Blues' sound design, because holy moly it sounds great. Can't say I envisioned it making dial-up noises before now, but it just works now that it is.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI was talking with someone today about Part 5 and they told me that the Stands in Part 5 are scary f-cking monsters some of the scariest, creepiest designed Stands in the franchise.
I saw a picture of Metallica and um... well.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Ha ha. You'll never look at cubes the same way again.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireNotorious B.I.G. is downright scary. As if out of a nightmare.
... And that's called jazz!Wait till we get to Green Day...
Muda, Muda, Muda, Muda, Muda, Muda, Muda, Wrrrrrry!
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Metallica is one of my favorite Stands, but I definitely definitely DEFINITELY would not want to be on the receiving end of its power.
Finally reading Green Day it wasn't as scary was I thought it would be. I guess because the mold wasn't very detailed. I think what metallica can do to people is what makes it feel scary.

It's time.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!
It was even better than I'd imagine. The psychedelic shots of zucchero's head and the zoom in on the boat made it that much more Jojo.
At that moment, part 5 certified itself as the best david jojo thus far.
^wait that wasn't the music though.

God I love this show.
There is nothing quite like it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Already getting meme'd up lol.
Awaiting the eventual Last Surprise version.
Wow. Just wow. The dance was glorious, simply glorious. Like, there was an episode around it, but it was clear that dance was the highlight of the episode.
I actually liked how Stand users can still be defeated by utterly mundane and realistic situations, such as a lack of intel about whether or not there is a back door to a building.
Something I didn't pick up on because the re-translation omitted it: Giorno's actually pretty polite. He calls Mista "Mista-san", I guess because he's the newbie on the team and wants to show respect.
I wasn't expecting the dance either. I vaguely remembered it from the manga, but it was really well-directed so it caught me by surprise.
Man I cannot wait for Grateful Dead/Beach Boy...

It occurs to me that they didn't even try to get answers from Zucherro, they just tortured him for no reason.
I mean, that dance is legit my favourite scene in Part 5, so I'm glad they gave it the care and attention it deserved.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Someone needs to do an edit where they're dancing to Berserk's Tell Me Why if only because the "put your grasses on" line is hilarious given the context of what they're doing to zucchero.
They tortured him for attacking them. They knew they wouldn't get any answers out of him.
I was so excited for the dance. I wasn't disappointed.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe character designs for part 5 look kinda emaciated don't they
Secret SignatureThat's just the new artstyle. From what I've seen, that never really goes away from here on out. If anything, it gets more extreme. Man, remember how jacked Jonathan and Joseph were?
I think a nice way to compare Araki's Art Evolution is to put Jonathan and Johnny side by side in their original designs.
Jonathan is portrayed as a huge hunk of a man, while Johnny has a much leaner build despite having to be strong enough to push himself around and mount a horse without using his legs.
... And that's called jazz!Araki has taken a more Greek statue approach to his artwork.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
My favorite line of his is βFor the love of God, drop the meat.β
Hilarious.
