I found Angus on VHS at a swap meet. Love that movie. Too bad it's never going to see a DVD release.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Angus is on DVD. However, it's only available through the Warner Archive site and there are no extras.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Not a film, but I got into the US version of The Office because it the first three seasons were available for like fifteen euro in HMV. I'm not sure how, or why, but basically I had to buy that.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I got the box set of Firefly AND the Collector's edition of The Big Damn Movie all new, all for only $10, great deal. Considering they were from a local Circuit City that was closing I bought multiples, them gave them out as gifts, or since I have "Ask me about Firefly" on my work name tag I would give it to them. Sure is set me back a bit, but spreading the joy of Serenity is the gift that keeps on giving.

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans. The King Of Kong for £1.50 the other day, and the Ultimate Collector's Edition of Blade Runner for £7 in HMV.
My Blog: Read and enjoy! My Blogcritics PageSouth Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut for £5 in HMV. Result.
Not a movie and not a shop, but I found the entire Series of Firefly and Volume 3 of Animaniacs in my local library.
I got Oldboy for $5 from my local library gift shop.

I rented Pink Flamingos and The Last Temptation Of Christ from Blockbuster. Yes, some Blockbusters carry those movies (they are often thought to be banned from stores).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/About four months back, I was trawling the local mall for chicks (unsuccessfully, I might add) and when I wandered into the FYE, lo and behold what did I see on one of the front DVD racks? Xena: Warrior Princess season 1 on DVD.
Normally I'm not an impulse buyer, but as a man who grew up watching Xena I had to buy it. Fuck yeah.
I found the sole copy of the Blade Runner 5 Disc Blu Ray set they had on sale - Blade Runner is one of the favourite by-products of my high school education where I was forced to study it, so watching the Director's Cut again on Blu Ray plus the other versions will be fascinating indeed.
I don't think they sell the Blu-Ray version of this set anymore, so I picked it up when I could.
Hell Hasn't Earned My TearsI found Invader Zim Volume 1 at Half Price Books for $20. I only ended up paying $5 for it because I had just traded in $15 worth of books. They had the other volumes, but they wanted $30 each for them. (I'm still not sure how that worked, but whatever.) It's out of print now, which makes me glad I got it when I did.
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella."The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974) for $5.00, "Versus" for $7.00, "Tokyo Zombie" for $7.00, all three from Wal-mart.
"Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna" for $4.00 from some videogame/movie store.
This may not impress Americans, but I found an uncut copy of Tinto Nrass's Caligula posing as an Australian copy with the black OFLC R rating sticker on it. Still trying to find Refused Classification's (the funny anti-censorship website in Oz) contact details to inform him that the "No Name Australian release marked with vague ratings advice" is actually an uncut version. Suck it Conroy, you CAN buy it on DVD! :D
I also found Shocking Asia 1 and 2, Young Einstein, Blacula, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
What are your awesome movie finds of late? Are they as awesome and sticking-it-to-the-man as mine?
