Mech series written and directed from the same people who did Ouran High School Host Club anime and animated by BONES, Which aired today. anyone else excited?

meh, nah, he dosen't seem to run like girl. he's good at Free running though.

Once the sub comes out on Goodanime.net, I'll probably watch it.

It's certainly on my list to try out.

And maybe for 5 seconds he runs like a girl, but I figured he was just off balance.

Although right at the start I thought he looked like Minorin so I was confused right off the bat.

It didn't disappoint

I'm definitely watching this. Now, whether that's because the plot is interesting or because it's hilarious has yet to be decided.

I must watch this for epic Narm and ham.

Weirdest fraternity/sorority rituals I've ever seen.

Well, at least they're not going lightly on the thinly veiled sexual symbolism.

That first episode was sooooo over the top gay I respect it's purity. Also I tip my hat to the subbing group for throwing around the adjective "fabulous" so much it became a joke in itself.

I keep thinking, "Masaomi-kun? Is that you?"

I'm getting cheesy/narmy vibes from this, but that's mostly because of that feather on the mecha's head and the fact that the episode was called "Galactic Bishonen".

I'll keep watching...

This definitely feels like it's riding Code Geass's coattails thanks to Takuto's character design. The pacing felt truncated, like there were chunks that had been cut out that we were still expected to know, but it's still only the first episode. The visuals are quite nice.

Also, that one painting is very reminiscent of a similar painting in Rah Xephon.

The feel I got from it was more Code Geass:Real Robot::Star Driver:Super Robot, what with the Elaborate University High and general fabulousness. They both even have names done in same way (A two word English phrase that doesn't mean anything with a subtitle of the form "[Japanese word] no [main character's given name]").

Anyone know where I can watch this without downloading it?

Technically that's impossible if you don't live in Japan, but it should be up on all the usual streaming sites.

Reminds me of a bizarre hybrid between Ouran High School Host Club and Rah Xephon. I suppose I can see some Code Geass sensibilities thrown in there too.

^^^^ I'm being super nitpicky here, but Code Geass actually does have some sort of a meaning, even if it's a bit of a stretch.
