"Please leave that stuff in the other thread. This one was made for a reason."
You're assuming "discussion of elements we do not agree with" is the same as flaming?
Plus in the other thread, he clarified what he meant by "move", and I corrected myself there, so I will correct myself here. Tobias meant moved out of development, and I assumed he meant Sakamoto would be moved in a different sense. So I stand corrected there.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Seriously. We're talking about the game here.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! Then Tobias made the statement not appropriate to the thread. Do not blame me for responding to that.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Well then both of you can take it to the other thread then.
You can charge your missiles? Interesting.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! No, we will not. This is just a "no flaming" thread, not a "post nothing about the possible sequel in relation to the performance of this game" thread or "no disagreements" thread.
As long as we keep it civil and still on topic, it will be acceptable here.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. This thread's for the game and its content. If you continue this argument, Sakamoto and his good/bad decisions and everything else will become involved anyway. Drop it. Jesus fucking Christ.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.Should we report a mod if this continues?
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Last I checked, I was not being rude here. You guys are basically ordering me not to post things that neither the OP, nor the thread title forbade. I did not flame or post a controversial statement about the game. I just responded to someone's comment, even though I misunderstood the context, and then corrected myself when I realized the misunderstanding.
Plus you guys started this argument about me supposedly breaking the thread rules, I'm merely insisting I am not.
I can get back on topic, but do not pretend I was breaking the thread rules, as I was clearly not.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. For fuck's sake. Give these guys a break, DQZ. Don't answer here.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI ALREADY took it to the other thread, DQZ. Seriously, this isn't an argument that needs to be had.
Yeah, you can charge missiles. It's tricky to do in first-person mode due to being forced to stand still during it, but you can charge your beam, THEN switch to first-person to let it off. Much easier.
For all the game gets crap about the first-person mode, the temporary time slowdown coupled with the fact that you can auto-dodge as you change back to third-person made it pretty manageable for me. Change view, fire missile, change back. Very fast.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Charged missiles is actually this game's version of the Super Missile, and so you need to get the upgrade first.
One nice thing is that it's also combined with the... multi missile thing, so you can shoot multiple Super Missiles at once, once you get the upgrade anyways.
I like how streamlined all of the upgrades are in this game.
Edit: Same time posting!

Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.^^^Thank you.
So what do you guys think of the first person mode. I'm kind of annoyed when it snaps to it and kind of turns into and adventure game type thing.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! The Pixel Hunt sequences can bite me, but like I said, the actual Switch-to-1st-Fire-Switch-Back mechanic is...awkward, but not the SOUL-CRUSHING DESTROYER OF FUN that some reviewers have accused it of.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Um, if sales and the sequel apparently count as controversial, so would the reviews.
And I'm just responding to post #39, not bringing that up to argue about it.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It was a fun game. I still have yet to fight Phantoon, as I got stuck trying to find him and I am playing Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles now.

All I want to know, before I even consider renting the game, is that if at any point it is possible to skip the cut scenes.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I still can't believe Nightmare was in it. That was an awesome fight.
I didn't even realize that was Nightmare until I was about three rooms past it. Guess that's a classic Late to the Punchline...well, it would be if you didn't have to fight it again.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith. Was the nightmare Spider in the metroid series an insirtation for the nightmare of Devil May Cry 1, by the way?
Watch SymphogearThe moment you heard the roar and the gravity started getting wonky, I knew Nightmare was gonna appear! I sprinted through that whole section because I was so excited to fight him!
Rawr!^ I guess not too wonky, or sprinting wouldn't have been possible. Could you imagine Samus tumbling over just because it switched 90 degrees.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Well, by sprinting I mean rushing as fast as was possible, which in some sections basically meant a slow walk. The gravity just randomly got heavier and reversed and stuff.
Rawr!I propose merging the other M page into the main Metroid page. Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion don't get their own pages, and Other M is supposedly the bridging point between them as well as being closer to them in visual style(if not game play) than the Prime games.
Besides, Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion look the same, but only play marginally the same. Clump together.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackYeah, the Metroid Prime series deserves its own section because it's sort of a sub-story in the series, but Other M is connected with the other games so it shouldn't be separate.
Rawr!
Screw Attack aside, discovering that you can charge for a Super Missile before going into first-person mode was a welcome relief. >.< The final boss would have been IMPOSSIBLE otherwise.
