And no matter how many scans he gets confirming that there are no scorpions in his brain, he'll probably have doubts for a while yet.
What if the scorpions laid eggs in his brain or something?
Disgusted, but not surprisedYeah, that should be his first move. Go to Bubbles and Faye and say "dismantle me and give me a full cleaning so I don't suddenly have arachnids crawling out of me at inopportune moments."
.....is it wrong that part of me wants to see Winslow try exotic dancing? A little half-shirt and boyshorts, "greetings, human, see something you like?"
.....I need a woman.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Not wrong, sexy+adorable is a hell of a combo.
Winslow radiates Big Son Energy to me, I wouldn't want to see him in that sort of situation
Just got caught up on the week and I love that people have lips again, but the only thing that bothers me is Martin's eyes, he's suddenly not very expressive.
Interested to see where Claire's dad storyline might go. It's not often that JJ touches on how Claire's transition has affected her life.
So, if Clinton is still in contact with their dad, and if said father isn’t aware of her transition, how does Clinton give him updates on the rest of the family? I can’t see Clinton misgendering Claire to their father, or outing her without permission.
Edit: Well, Claire actually says they’ve only talked “a couple of times.” Probably it hasn’t come up.

You can’t see a protective sibling misgendering someone to avoid outing them? Really? Because that’s extremely believable.
If they’re not out, you act like there’s nothing to be out about.
Point taken. There is then the question of how Claire is unsure whether her father knows or not, if Clinton talks to him.
The pigeons remind me of one of the last times we saw Pintsize. Wonder what he's up to.

Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.CITY FACES
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youSeeing how AIs are pretty much all unique individuals just like any person, perhaps there were a few firebrand revolutionary types in the past, or one watched too much Terminator and decided that they wanted to grow up to be Skynet.
Honestly this need to be "useful" is making me worry more about Winslow than anything else
Dude has had a terrible few months of being in strange places far from home. He should absolutely be indoors doing nothing.
Oh really when? With that new chassis I keep forgetting that he used to look like a bipedal IPod.
Yeah, I tend to forget that he's even the same character.
I guess Winslow is on the edge of being agoraphobic now.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |I'd be afraid of going outside too if the last time I went out I got scorpions in my brain.
His need to be useful is probably due to originally being a personal AI assistant. It's part of who he is.

Disgusted, but not surprisedYeah, and he has likely gotten a complex after his time spent not being able to. His years of just being stuck in the apartment gotta be gnawing on. So even as he has every right to relax, he doesn't feel like he deserves it.

It's a nice contrast to Pint-Size, who doesn't have any hangups over not being able to fulfill some purpose.
Maybe that's because Pint-Size wasn't actually the perfect match for Marten due to problems during the matching procedure. As a result, their friendship was something they both grew into, leaving Pint-Size with room to still have an identity of sorts that didn't revolve around being Marten's buddy.
In his own warped way, Pint-Size is one of the most well-adjusted characters in the strip. He at least is at peace with who he is.

Disgusted, but not surprisedThe difference is Pintsize actually feels like he's accomplished his purpose of being a companionship AI, especially when Marten first moved.
Sure, he has some regrets over not doing more to help Marten and Dora during their relationship, which is why he slapped the shit out of Marten with that purple dildo when Marten brushed off Claire's freakout over her exams, but overall I think he's handled the idea of not being as needed for this original role far better than Winslow is currently doing.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Yeah, Pintsize feels like a success, while Winslow feels like a failure. Even though their companion humans are actually nearly in the same situation - they both were loners that got a lot better during the run of the comic. (Hell, Hanners was at a much lower point and thus went much bigger distance up.)
Would be a nice strip to have it pointed out to him, perhaps from Pintsize himself.
I'd like to see Pintsize period. I'm trying to figure out the last time we saw him, but the wiki seems unreliable, claiming it was one of the robot anatomy strips back in 2015, but that doesn't feel right.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.The last appearance of Pintsize, which dates back 236 comics or about 11 months.
He’s not sure.
