I have a ramen story which indeed involved walking away and getting distracted. Fortunately, when I stepped away, I used my customary method of, after the water comes to a boil and I've added the noodles, I put the top on, turn off the heat, and walk away, letting it cook with residual heat, so I just had noodles that had swollen to the size of shoelaces as they pulled in all of the water. The time I forgot the pizza in the oven and the time I forgot the pot during the boiling phase didn't work out so well (although I did learn from the second that the bottom of the pot can get cherry red from staying on the stove, and teflon coatings will burn off).
I once saw a forgotten pot of water left to boil not only boil dry, but the bottom somehow melted off. Seriously, pick up the pot and the whole bottom still on the burner.
Fresh-eyed movie blogBit surprised. I would have expected at least one of them, most likely Momo to be at least a passable cook.
Trump delenda estThere's a $69 tier that's just called "nice", and the only listed perk is "nice".
Keep it classy, Jeph.
So is there any major difference between Drip and Patreon?
I figure that Marigold/Dale/May just managed to anger their sentient rice cooker. Because they totally have a sentient rice cooker.
Well drip throw its toys out of the pram if you show up with disabled javascript so that's already a negative point.
The only difference I've heard about it is that Drip doesn't have features like tagging posts yet.
Fresh-eyed movie blogOF COURSE Momo’s hair is short now! Why wouldn’t it be??
So, either Momo comes to terms with looking like a punk, or Faye and Bubbles have their next customer.
I think this might lead to Jeff subverting his typical trope. We’ll see that, no, not every woman likes having all of her hair cut/burned off, and Momo wants her hair to be long. Cue her finding a way to get it back.
I went back and checked to be sure; your post about Jeph having characters cut their hair was only 4 pages ago. Although I think having it partially burned off in a tragic kitchen accident is a new one.
Edit: Ninjas had to add another up-arrow.

I mean, she’s a robot, and Marigold seems to have plenty of disposable income. She can probably get a new hair unit tomorrow, if she doesn’t already have a few dozen spares thanks to living with a gamer gremlin.
What's precedent ever done for us?As May has shown, they aren't swappable like wigs and it takes some work to replace. So I'm still on "next customer" guess.
I mean that was her face not her hair.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"They also had to remove and reattach the hair. Bubbles had to sew it on.
A higher-end chassis like Momo's may be easier to service, however. On the other hand, if it was a simple fix she wouldn't be stressing so much.
It’s a moot point anyway, because she’s just going to decide she likes it and keep it short.

Maybe Jeff read all the complaints about him cutting characters' hairs short and decided to make this, where Momo will adress the issue and talk about how she likes her hair long and not everyone should have to cut their hair short at some point.
And then she'll cut it short anyway, because it's Jeff, after all.
I'm trying to remember a word for post-damage or post-disaster care, but it's not coming >_<

No, that's not it. It's not repairs, relief, or mitigation, either.
I've had friends who fucked up instant ramen. Don't underestimate the talents of a kitchen disaster.
