obvious nerdgasm is obvious
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal."The tale of defeat leading to the final decisive battle"
As they said, that certainly sounds like it's a prequel.
“Warriors will rely on the few remaining memories they own,
To end the war,
To return to the original world,
Keep fighting…”
No real idea what that means, but it sounds cool.
Hey, if all the heroes lose their memories when they're a part of the Conflict, maybe that explains stuff like Firion's obsession with a literal Wild Rose instead of remembering that it's merely the symbol of the Rebellion.
I have a message from another time...eh, I just move along with the plot, whatever they do, I'm ok, as long as they don't make a romance between sephiroth/cloud, I will be fine
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.^ You are now imagining the "Cross-dressing Adventure" with Sephiroth in place of that Duke guy.
That is your disturbing mental image for the day™
I have a message from another time...Garland's voice samples in the first game are him yelling "Lich!", "Marlith!", "Kraken!", "Tiamat!" and "Chaos!"
I like to think that he was originally planned to invoke the names of the Fiends when using their elements for HP attacks, and Chaos' when he uses his EX-burst.
I hope they do that in the sequel.
That is all.
I wouldn't mind actually fighting the Fiends in the sequel...
Daydreaming aside, what I want most is Miss Cloud, and a more detailed story mode, including opportunities to play as the villains. The thing I'm most looking forward to is the remixes, particularly of VIII, which had many awesome tracks that went totally unused. Maybe I'm A Lion? Force Your Way? The Legendary Beast? The Landing? Liberi Fatali?
...Story Mode: Evil Edition would be totally sweet. I honestly was more interested in the villain's side of the story and their interactions than the heroes in the original (plus I think they're more fun to play).

I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!Evil Is Cool my friend, everybody thinks so too.
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.If this game has Galuf in it, then I have a reason to buy a PSP.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderAh, crap. Nameless Warrior of Light again?
Who the hell else were they gonna choose?

Really.
360 Gamertag: Electivirus. 3DS friend code: 5412-9983-8497. PSN ID: Electivirus. PM me if you add me on any.I'd be kind of surprised if we lost any characters, so the Warrior of Light was a given.
^ As I've said before, of course they're going to cut characters that were in the first game. 26 (2 from games 1-13) is already a humongous cast for a fighting game. It'll be impossible to balance the cast if they make it any bigger than that.
It's much easier to balance characters that already exist than old ones. And I'm not certain how major a concern balance is for SE, anyway. With most all of the characters being iconic, they'd need a good reason to lose them.

phew....Pretty cool.
agh. I NEED THIS GAME!!
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal."Dun! Dudududun! Dudududun! Dududu dun-dun! Dududu dun!
That riff has become the bane of my existance.
Ooh, but this remix of the theme is *music hits 1:30* HOLY CRAP AWESOME!
I have a message from another time...Duodecim? Why? They're representing 13 games here, and Duodecim immediately makes me think Dissidia: Duodenum. Besides, Tridecim sounds better.
Evidence is building that it may be a prequel to Dissidia. And since Dissidia was the 13th cycle...
I have a message from another time...And we all know that Squeenix loves their Latin.
Thank you very much.I really hope they lose some of the characters. Many of them have no personality or history and some don't even have names. I'd be more than happy to see Onion Knight, Firion, Garland, and Ultimecia kicked out.
Garland is in.
I have a message from another time...
