Back from the bookstore. Finally got Gardens of the Moon, another Dresden Files book, a couple of Batman comics, and True Grit.

First off, I just started, and I have foreknowledge of the fact that the Red Mage gets both Black and White buffs.

I also have problems finding something to say that's not horribly cliched. Perhaps you need food before you can find something to say. Eat a squirrel?

I suppose if it was anyone, the jack of all trades could do it. What is your level now?

I like to call the Red Mage of FFI the jack of all trades, master of buffs. Most players would downplay him, but with Dawn of Souls making buffs more useful than offensive magic, he gets a major boost.

Already, not having anything to do is losing its appeal.

I was soloing FFI with black mage. It was painfully tedious and I dropped it after I got class change. Compared to that red mage is a walk in the park.

Why a squirrel, specifically?

Maybe because I'm facing a window overlooking all the trees, and there are a lot of grey squirrels running freely around campus. They will come so close to humans.

We should have squirrel burger stands, damnit.

But squirrels are so cute and fluffy.

Plus, if you had squirrel burger stands, they'd have to have a warning on them saying "may contain nuts".
