Anyway, back from the bookstore. Got Amulet volumes two and three, The Return of Bruce Wayne, Burn Your Boats, Iron Man Noir (which should be called Iron Man Pulp and is friggin' awesome) and Gun Blaze West volume three.
Also finished Reaper Man on the way there and it too is frigging awesome. Personally, one of the best in the series.

Planescape Hijack
Just finished the first...book? of Odin Sphere. Its writing is a little overwrought (and yet something more naturalistic would have been totally jarring), but the narrative arc is a thing of beauty (damn you, dramatic irony). As I'd been playing I'd spent a lot of time grinding and crafting and all that, but then once I saw what the final mission was I was all "no, screw that. I'm putting on my new +attack accessory and I'm going to kick the crap out of Death". Not many games can engage the player on that level.
