In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

I am hated by Lucky Revenant, sad. My heart is torn asunder.
*grabs chest dramatically and falls to the floor*
Hey grog.

vandro: *rushes to the corpse and starts to rejuvenate like mad*
Jackal: You in a shipping mood?

It's not a corpse yet, you worrywart.
I'll just have to start my OWN tidal wave. With blackjack! And hookers! And THAT statue!

Idiota preocupón.
Hey, where are you taking me?
And yes, I probably would run away to the Distortion World if I could. It has Giratina. And an upside-down waterfall.
Stupid doomed timeline...vandro: No 'stealth' insults, vandro. Or any other kinds of insults.
Stealth, my ass. I said "Worrywart idiot".
EVERYTHING is better with an upside-down waterfall.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Preocupón means "worrywart"? Is that a productive derivation? Can you say that a workaholic is an ocupón? Or that someone with anger control issues is an enojón, an enfadón?
survival of the tight-lippedvandro: Don't worry, vandro. I actually didn't feel too worried. Only enthusiastic to shake you back to life.
Hello, Tobias, fellow wit-sharpener duelist!

Tobias: Indeed it is.
Stupid doomed timeline...Hello, Nathaniel!
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Preocupón means literally "big worrier", remember, Aoede, spanish diminutives and augmentatives are suffixes added to the root. Workaholic:Adicto al Trabajo. Ocupón is theorically acceptable spanish, not something you find in actual conversation.
Like "talewright" for "novelist", perhaps.
Although that's more of a compound thing.
Whatevs.
We read an interesting article about gender and agreement in Spanish for the Theories class the other day. The consensus we reached was that it did an all right job dismantling the traditional "analysis", but failed to offer a satisfying alternative model.
survival of the tight-lippedvandro: As a matter of fact, I don't think of myself as a huge worrier, often quite the opposite. What about you?
And, yes, enojón is someone with a hair trigger temper.
One thing I don't get from people calling grammatical gender to be sexist. What is more sexist, male plural as neutral plural or having to use the "male nurse" compound because when one says nurse people assume female?
Excellent.
And er... they're both sexist.
survival of the tight-lippedLol asdf:defsystem. Well, fuck it, I don't need no stinking evaluator.
