Black-haired Virgil is cursed.
All right so, Brian Hanford is just Daniel Southworth's leaking successor.

All that hoping for nothing.
As much I'm loving these updates for DMC 3 I gotta wonder why there's so much focus on it instead of V
Maybe to test the waters on how well these features do before putting them in 5 proper? Adding on to an old game would cost significantly less than adding on to a newer game that already cost a lot to make, I'd imagine. Could just me being hopeful, but I like to believe that Itsuno and the boys are listening to us and want to make any addition to 5 as flawless as possible.
Now, the cynic in me says that we will get all of these features added in to 5 in addition to playable Vergil, Trish and Lady in a Special Edition...released exclusively for the Playstation 5 and Xbox One X.
Man you're a real buzzkill
I'm a cynic, I love nothing more to be wrong about not having another VS game on the horizon.
We're really close on that aren't we? I really wouldn't be surprised if they decided to route. No matter how much buyer remorse I would have.
So, a while back I rented DMC5 from Redbox and I returned it without finishing it, then I bought the game a few months later when Redbox sold off their all games for dirt cheap. I'm trying to pick up where I left off now, but whenever I try to load my old save, it says "Game data preparation not yet complete. Please wait.", but there's nothing loading in the background.
Any tips on how to fix this? I've already tried restarting the PS4, deleting and reinstalling the game, and deleting the save data from the demo. I don't have PS Plus, so I can't do anything with cloud saving.
It let me replay mission 1, and I seem to be able to continue on from that point, but I'd rather not restart the entire game if I can avoid it.
EDIT: Well I just tried it again and it let me load my old save no problem, even though I did absolutely nothing different this time...

Well, that was weird, but hey, no use in looking a gift horse in the mouth.
So what are the odds of DMC 4 SE heading to the Switch?
What's so bad about Dante hooking up with Ammy?
(Knocks fist into palm) That’s who that is!
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I knew she looked familiar.
Anyways it doesn't matter according to twitter Dante doesn't know what sex is.
Doesn't that mean you can try anything with him & then not say its sex?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yes, if you want to use a sort of logic that has probably been used by a rapist at some point.
Gosh Dante is so innocent.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ok, this took a turn of an event.
She's a wolf? I mean, I don't know if those make for good romantic or sexual partners.
Him and Leon have that in common it seems.

She's not a wolf, she's a goddess. She just happens to occasionally take the form of a wolf.
I do so enjoy how fanartists have taken the concept of human-form ammy and ran with it for years. Everyone has their own take, but they aren't dissimilar enough from one another that you can't tell it's supposed to be the same character.
Two ideas for a Ninja Gaiden/Devil May Cry crossover:
- A hack and slash game were only Ryu and Dante are playable. Dante's game play emphasizes style points and crazy combos while Ryu is more methodical and fast in his approach not unlike Vergil.
- A fighting game featuring all characters who have been playable in both game series and some others who haven't.
Which do you prefer?

My hack & slash response:
Being able to play as all those characters sounds pretty dope. They all play pretty differently from one to another, at least from what I remember in Ninja Gaiden. Although, they should probably do something with Ninja Gaiden before they do anything with a crossover.
A crossover might even be what shows there is still interest in an NG game.
I don't think there's an uninterest with the series, but if a hypothetical crossover is really how they want to handle it then I'm not going to complain about it.
Hell, I definitely buy it day 1.
Picked it up for the first time in months. Oof I'm out of practice, polished off the Human campaign though, as I still hadn't gotten the trophy for that. Man Sin DT just obliterates bosses on human mode, not even funny.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I mean, considering the transformation I feel like that's pretty justified.
Especially the difficulty that is set on.
I had more trouble than I thought I'd have with some of the levels though, ate shit way too often for my tastes, and my hands began to hurt by the end by mashing stylish shit. I think I'd fucking DIE if I tried getting back to where I left off in DMD.
