BlazBlue: General thread.

Makoto is primarily a rushdown character, but she also relies on decoy afterimages and feint blows to confuse the opponent. And she has charges.

On the subject of Bullet's "pants", I still find them ridiculous. If they wanted to give her short shorts, that's fine. But what she has right now is just denim panties, to be honest.

Well yeah, but Bare Your Midriff is such a commonly played trope these days that it really should just fly over people's heads by now.

I do think that Bullet should join Brainiac and Solomon Grundy on the want pants position.

But yeah, it's not the only thing. I mean, she has the exposed navel and the big boobs and the mostly exposed legs and so on. She's a fanservice character.

EDIT:Looking at her art, not only are they cut super super short, but they also appear to be those low riding jeans. What. I need to stop looking at Bullet before my head explodes.

That's a rather broad definition of Fanservice Character, but whatever.

Bullet got off easier than Makoto, though. All her design would need to be less blatantly fanservicey are Lara Croft's shorts and... not Lara Croft's boobs.

Well true. Overall, I have no real problem with Bullet's design, unlike Makoto's. But I know it was mostly for fanservice, and hey, whateves.

OK, the pants bug me now that I notice the low riding thing on top of the cut super short and I don't think much would have been lost by just giving her shorts, but again, whateves

I like Bullet overall. Actually, I think I've warmed up considerably to all three of the new dudes, even if their designs are all really strange in really different ways. (actually, I think Amane's design is probably the least strange of the trio)

Anyway, I didn't notice if this got posted here before, but the game is hitting arcades the 21st of this month. This means we'll get lovely stuff like plot details and non-awful quality gameplay videos!

Oh, and profiles for Butter Boy, Magical Girl, and Sexy Sociopath are up. There's something oddly comforting about Platinum's visage.

It's more obvious than the fact that we need oxygen to survive that Noel will end up facing down both Tsubaki and Izayoi during her route.

Izayoi is evidently a mode-switcheroo kind of ho.

You can't really make those kinds of claims until we actually know the story.

I do like how we are getting conflicting info on if she is the Izayoi itself or if she is basically Super Tsubaki.

I am betting on the latter actually. Maybe Tsubaki unleashing the full power of the Izayoi and all that jazz, but still Tsubaki.

Also, she looks cool to play as.

EDIT:Also, I was wrong, she does still have the sword. It's just really big now. No clue on where the hat, book-shield, and eye motif went.

That is admittedly a bummer. The most super thing about regular garden-variety Tsubaki was the bitchin' eye hat.

Well, we still have Dark Tsubaki and her Dark Eye Hat, right?

I wonder if they will do what CS missed out on by having characters who are technically the same character have unique intros (like Tsubaki Versus Izayoi or Noel Versus Mu) No clue how this would make sense though. Maybe have it be a Battle in the Center of the Mind kinda thing, where the winner "absorbs" the loser?
