Ventrue.
But you have your secret pride to console you. You are simply the best: vampires are superior to humans, and you are superior to other vampires. Time to act like it.
I am sickened by this development. Ventrue and Tremere were dead even with three each, curiously, with Gangrel only a point behind.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Nosferatu, apparently.
Very first line: "You poor loser."
That was a good laugh I kinda needed.
Weirdly enough I got Ventrue, Gangrel and Malkavian all on 2 points.
Toreador.
...okay.
Malkavian also got 3, Tremere 2, Brujah and Nosferatu one each.

Decided to poke at it and ran through it twice, because there were two questions I could've gone either-or on. It thinks I'm a Tremere (3 points), but it's a coin-flip whether it'll give me an equal three points in either Nossie or, funnily enough, Brujah.

I looked around but couldn't find anything; have they said anything about adding Roads and Paths to the game?
I'm assuming no, but it's one of the big things I'd want from an RP perspective.
Doubtful, that would be a lot of work to implement for little payoff. Not to mention you're a newly embraced kindred, thinking of replacement systems for humanity and devoting the time and effort to do it justice is just beyond the scope of a video game to do.
Yeah, unfortunately, you are right. It'd be a lot of work that many people wouldn't care too much about.
Alas, maybe a potential mod down the road.
Tried that quiz, and got... Clan Malkavian, whoo! My favorite clan! Hell yeah!
Well that's interesting. Given that they've taken the developer off the lead of the project rather than push through a release or cancelling outright, to the point of adding on perhaps 12 more months of development, makes me wonder just what the hell was going on with development.
Site seems to be having issues, I can't connect to it.
Really have to wonder what is happening there. This seems to be going beyond an Anthem level mess, honestly.
Well, that tears it for me. I don't like to spread negativity, but I consider it entirely illogical at this point to have any expectations of this turning out perfectly good.
I'm sure the rumors on the development issues post-mortem will be interesting though.

Yeah, I'd really like a post-release Jason Schreier article right now.
Eh. I take him with a grain of salt. Like, his article on CDPR was kinda uninformed in a few places. If I remember correctly, he had something about certain languages in the workplace only for one of the leads to explain on twitter back that, yeah, they have a fuck ton of languages in the work space from Polish, Russian, Italian, French, German, and etc. All meetings are done in English for sake of clarity, but they have a billion cultures and languages involved in one company. And my understanding is that that's fairly common in countries where language diversity is a lot more prevalent. CDPR got issues, but a pot shot about languages used in the office seems wrong.
But, I also am curious what the end result will be. The website isn't loading for me so I can't quite get all the details, but sometimes getting project leads out CAN actually right the ship to a degree. It might not fix all the holes but there's a chance of righting things. Especially if they're additionally giving a full year of extra development on the project rather than rushing it out.
I wonder if 2077 and everything at CDPR scared them so they're trying to fix the problems but also do so without the usual industry flaws?
But maybe that's optimistic of me to even thing.
Even if it's a dumpster fire, sometimes dumpster fires are fun. See; the original Bloodlines.
For a dumpster fire, the original Bloodlines is one of the best WRPG's ever.
I think people are more worried Bloodlines 2 will be the Duke Nukem Forever of WRPG's rather than just being a mess.

Maybe the reception of Cyberpunk has made them realize that people actually have some level of standards and want to make sure it's not seen as a train wreck like 2077, if so kudos to them.
And, yeah, for all the first game is a rushed technical mess, it absolutely nails basically everything else.
Hopefully anybody who pre ordered can get refunds.

Eeehhhh...I'm stubborn enough to still want to buy this game.
Just, after the price takes a massive punch to the gut. >_>
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. So since they're looking for a new developer, who would you pick as the one that would make you feel confident about it?
I'm not even sure nowadays, most of my favourite games in recent memory have been made by smaller studios.
Changing entire development studios clearly very far into development isn't very common, so the closest I can recall for precedence would be Duke Nukem Forever. Obviously not an encouraging comparison, even if I'm sure a 14 year development time won't be the problem. It just feels like it'd take a miracle to me for a game to remain coherently made after swapping out the studio unless it was like 90% done and literally everything left was written down, which I imagine from another year of dev time is not such a situation.
To reiterate the point, from the wording Hardsuit Labs is still involved, they've just been taken off as lead developers. Assuming that is correct there's still continuity with development staff, just with a different studio calling the shots. Given that they went this route and not cancelling it then it could be the original team was too ambitious and couldn't deliver (ala the original Metal Gear Rising going from Kojima Productions to Platinum games). From existing reports the bulk of the game was done, so this could also be a more under the hood kind of change.
Delayed multiple times and now they changed developers? At this point Bloodlines 2 is dead, I can't imagine this ending positively.

Considering that we've been talking about our favorite Clans a personality test I found on the Steam Bloodlines 2 forum is rather apropos, Which Vampire Clan wants you?
It's a fairly typical online quiz, it asks you a series of questions (ten in total) and depending on your answers spits out what Clan you'd most likely be chosen for.
My clan was Tremere
Specifically, my score was:
Tremere: 4
Ventrue: 3
Nosferatu: 1
Malkavian: 1
Gangrel: 1
I definitely approve of these results, they match what I know about my priorities and interests.
