I wanna get Pikmin2, but it went up in price :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Since my GC have gone walkabout I'm getting the Wii version when it finally gets out.
The GC version will work in a Wii, y'know. Although I guess it went up in price? I was lucky to get mine for cheap when I did, then.
I still need to officially beat my second file. But doing a no-death run of the final boss takes a loooong time.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaBeating the final boss in general takes a sizable chink of time compared to the other bosses.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI managed to get the Gamecube copy for a cheap price, and I've managed to do a no death run on both games (although the Titan Dweevil does take forever).
While I'm glad the Wii version is finally getting a release, I don't see the point in getting it again. It was kinda annoying to switch from the NPC! Pikmin to the GC Pikmin 2 though.
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!The Titan Dweevil is kind of a Marathon Boss, but it will go a lot quicker if you're not picky about Pikmin dying. Bum rush it with purples and yellows. Or just yellows, if you wish.

Well, you didn't say that before.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaYessssssss. Rock Pikmin are weird, but still cool.

Can anybody find the Purples and Whites? I don't see them anywhere.
I didn't see them either.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Looks like MORE micromanaging. Yay.
Seriously though, it looks cool and I'm excited.
I'm thinking the Rock Pikmin are going to replace the Purples. However it looks like there's still poison so I don't understand why there aren't whites.
Maybe they just figured they wouldn't show them yet.
Also I wonder how they're going to explain Rock Pikmin. Plant/Animal/Mineral hybrids now?
Yeah. With four captains I'm hoping there's some kind of multiplayer mode in the main story.

They're on the title screen's font! :P
The Protomen enhanced my life. What are?
White & Purple flowers. Not sure if that's = White & Purple Pikmin
I think the Rock Pikmin have purple-ish flowers so I don't think that means anything.
I hope they didn't get rid of them. I'd like to have more types of Pikmin than just five.
I'm half expecting something incredibly silly like Glass Pikmin or (solid) Gold Pikmin or something.

I wonder what either of those would do.
I kind of expected to see green Pikmin.
edit: Of course nothing says these two are the only new kinds. They didn't even draw attention to the Pink ones so there could be others that weren't shown.

I can't wait to see all the new wildlife. One of the things I love about the Pikmin series is the variety of enemy wildlife and the way that those wildlife have some clear relationships (Breadbugs are a convergent evolution with Bulborgs, for example).
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Rock Pikmin could be like Caddisfly larvae.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Haha, you all guessed the wrong color. I think three player game play is the most significant though, as that is the number of Wii Motes I have.
But I'll have to admit again that I was wrong. There was a lot more to do with Pikmin than I thought.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThree player? There are four captains.
That's great news.
