Like when she forgave Jinbe at Fishman Island? Or when she protected the children at Punk Hazard? Or when she supported Luffy and guided the Thousand Sunny at Whole Cake Island? Or when she fought Ulti and declared that Luffy will be the pirate king even if she's about to die at Onigashima?

Thinking more when the one time she's about to have a pretty decent fight being interrupted by the villain about to destroy her until another kills that villain and then Kidd jumps in to save them.

I still kinda think Ulti and Page One are going to get back up for another round. There's no way Zeus is actually dead, and if Nami's going to get him, she's gonna need a target to show his power on.

Yo, I just thought of something. We've heard Okobore Town mentioned in the last chapter, Holdem burned it down because they tried to protect the Akazaya. Now Luffy's falling from Onigashima, which has been moving towards the mainland. What If Luffy lands in Okobore Town, or near it?

It just feels like Oda's usual issues of too much happening not enough focus, and he keeps splitting it up...plus with Kaido and Luffy, the "Luffy is down! Now he gets back up!" has happened way too much.

For context, the chart is detailing who is where as of this most recent chapter. Sort of what the anime has done in Alabasta and Skypeia.

You know, a lot of people are predicting a Kaido flashback to start Act 4, and I agree, but I think it's going to be bigger than just a flashback for Kaido. I think, much like how Oden's flashback was also the story of Roger's last voyage, Kaido's flashback is also going to be the story of the Rocks Pirates and the battle at God Valley.

Starting to feel like Wano arc is getting dragged on for too long lol

On the other hand, we haven't see how Robin and Brook are doing, I'm curious to see their fight.

Tencent as the developer is bad, but it being a mobile game was the true nail in the coffin.

The fact it’s apparently aping Fighter Z is another kick in the genitals.

It seems more like Ko F all stars than Fighterz.

I just hope there's enough feedback, both positive for a fighting game and negative on the execution, for them to consider making a real, good One Piece fighting game in the future.

What would be a good base roster for a One Piece fighting game? Assume you only get 24 characters in the base roster, since that's what FighterZ had.

• I'd say the Straw Hats are a given, so Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, and Jimbei makes 10 right off the bat.

• Then you could just fill out the remaining 14 with Arc Villains: Buggy, Arlong, Smoker, Crocodile, Enel, Lucci, Moria, Magellan, Hody, Ceasar, Doflamingo, Katakuri, Kaido, and Blackbeard.

Of course, even that approach leaves plenty of deserving characters on the table, including a few arc villains and some characters more important than some arc villains.

Not really sure how Blackbeard would work since we're still not entirely sure what his full power-set is right now. Or how one would take into account his ability to outright depower other Fruit users.

True, but that doesn't stop every other One Piece game from putting him in. Hell, even JUMP FORCE put him in, and Jump Force doesn't even have Nami or Usopp! Also, there are a lot of characters playable in games that you could argue they shouldn't be because we're likely to see their full capabilities in the future: Hancock, Sengoku, Aokiji, Kizaru, Akainu, Fujitora, Mihawk, Shanks, Kaido, Big Mom, Kid, Killer, Marco, the list goes on.

To be fair to Jump Force, J Stars added Ace, Boa, and Akainu. No other Straw Hat was included in there. Interesting how one got backlash for it's One Piece representation and the other didn't.

Besides, don't they make Blackbeard a Mighty Glacier with sucking powers and Whitebeard's ability?

Also, I'm not sure people would be okay with Hody being in the roster. Might as well replace him with Law. Then again, Shanks keeps getting playable and I keep forgetting what they do when making up his moveset.

But hey, as long as the game "functions," it should be good enough right? Although speaking of crossover fighting games, Power Rangers Legacy Wars did help lead into the creation of Battle for the Grid. Maybe that could also happen to One Piece eventually?

Yeah, I was just including him for the example that you can literally make a roster out of just Straw Hats and Arc Villains. Like I said, there are plenty of One Piece characters more important than Arc Villains. Law being in the base roster of a fighting game is practically a given, same goes for Ace/Sabo.

That said, Hody would have a potentially interesting moveset in a fighting game, doping himself up with steroids that increase his damage and heal his wounds but hurt his longevity.

Random theory I have: Ym-sama will look like the “rotting king” archetype that Dark Souls loves, like the Old Monk and Lord of Cinder. The idea being that he has immortality but NOT eternal youth.
