I will just say on the subject of ym/im/imu I wouldn't be surprised if he's weaker than Spandam.

I could see Ym going either way. Those screaming FINAL VILLAIN! strike me as jumping the gun.

I think he'll be the most powerful adversary but not the actual final battle, that will be Luffy vs. Blackbeard one on one.

Whether Ym or Blackbeard becomes the final boss really is a toss-up right now; it really depends on whether the last remaining plot thread is finding Raftel and the One Piece or resolving the Void Century lore.

I'm leaning towards Void Century being the last plot thread and Ym being the final boss, because Whitebeard's last speech suggests that finding the One Piece is only the first step in dismantling the current world order. I'd imagine the rest of that process would involve figuring out the ancient mysteries and beating Ym.

All right, here goes: They plan to launch the anime on a digital platform this year and it will be dubbed in both Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. If my calculations are correct, it's going to be the uncensored version.

I fucking love you. Im so glad Im not the only one who gives a shit about One Piece being redubbed. You are so awesome.

How I'd do it is first there'd be an absolutely enormous free-for-all against Ym, likely at this point having at least one Ancient Weapon on his side, similar to FMA in that virtually every character tries to get a lick and most get swatted aside like gnats.

Afterwards there'd be a smaller in scale, but more intense and personal Straw Hats vs. Blackbeards showdown at Raftel.

Goddamnit the Katakuri fight is still not over. This weeks episode ended right at the Conquerer clash & the start of the two going fisticuffs.

Next episode we should get Snakeman & even then chances are it will only appear at the end of the episode so we have to wait 2 more weeks for the fight to end.

Seriously why can’t they devote one episode to just the fight? We might actually get things done quicker.

Knowing the anime team dedicating a single episode to the fight could be horrible.

Why do people actually think that the Five Elder Stars and Im-sama are super-powerful badass fighters? I've never understood this.

Authority Equals Asskicking probably. SURE, One Piece has a few subversions, but it still applies most of the time.

Though I think they won't be quite in the Emperors's tier.

Im is probably immortal and there will probably be something like he retains all his skills and strentgh despite not training cause immortality.

Another thought on Ym: think the fact that he has the exact same weird eye design as the giant elephant does is significant?

Ym is an elephant and so is Mihawk.

Ym is probably already one of my favorite characters and I can't wait to see more of them (whatever gender, or lack thereof, they are)

The character design is like a Naruto design in One Piece, so my guess is they're some kind of immortal, non-human creature. They're ridiculously strong, either through actual fighting force or just authority.

Maybe Luffy and Blackbeard will team up to defeat them and the world government before their final battle, Naruto and Sasuke style?

I could so see it being an enemy of mine situation.

Blackbeard is still the guy that turned in Ace to the government and effectively caused his death (not super-directly but still close enough).

It's going to take a hell of a lot to get Luffy to ally with Blackbeard.

So are we thinking the climax of Wano will be the Fire Festival? A lot of characters have been mentioning that.

Hey guys! Finally caught up with the manga, so I decided to join in.

In regards to the story, I believe more and more that the One Piece and the revelation of what happened in the Void Century are going to be the same thing. Perhaps it also gives info on how to acquire the superweapons or even includes one of them. Maybe it even has lots of objects or information that could help the Straw Hats with really sweet upgrades (which are becoming sorely needed, btw). In any case, I believe the One Piece will give them simply the right information and power, and then we'll have a confrontation against Im and the World Government.

Now, I don't see Teach participating in this mess except at the opposite end of Luffy's Kong Gun...
