Vivian: Ah. Are you "Nickel"?

Kotohime: ...here, come and sit down, and I'll tell you. *sits down*

Kotohime: Before Gensokyo was destroyed and I escaped only through a dangerous spell that cursed me to never spend two nights in the same place, I...was a princess.

Kotohime: *giggles* It feels so weird to say it now. But I really was. My parents were nobles and had a small mansion in Gensokyo. They settled there because my mother was a Youkai.

Kotohime: *smiles* It was so fun, everyone living there together. But...my father passed away, and my mother had to bring me up alone. She taught me...to smile. Always smile. She made sure I had everything that money could buy, and she loved me with her whole heart.

Kotohime: ...then she also died. The servants left, worried that there was a curse on the family. I was alone. No relatives wanted to take me in, because of my parents being a human and a Youkai. But I was old enough. I lived in the big mansion alone, with all the money and things that my parents had left me. I lived like that until Gensokyo perished.

-Niqhayl looks around the area, bowing at the various individuals present, confused and curious, before turning to Sunny-

Niqhayl: ...N-nya...?

-Niqhayl strokes its chin before gesturing around the room and tilting its head-

<< Where am I?>>

Sunny : You are in nethervegas nya~ @ Kris : I think nya... :|

-Niqhayl seems confused at what 'Nickel' means, thought it seems familiar to the machine...-

-at Sunny's words, Niqhayl seems shocked, before nodding excitedly-

<<Wait, the cat-girl translates? Excellent!>>

Sunny : Ummm, I am a spy nya.... I need to for my job nya.

Michael: Oh, my God...I'm honestly glad that you made it out alive.

(Wait...the Gensokyo that perished...didn't our Mom tell us about that...? She did!)

(he then thinks a bit more...)

...so let me get this straight. Because Mom married you, she's a princess, too?

(after going through her inventory, Catherine suits up in her typical Magical Girl outfit, the very same one used in her battle against Alyx's demons)

Catherine: Weapons, outfit...(she takes a pendant that has a picture of her mother, father, and herself...back when she was a young boy, back when she was still Carter)...and something to ensure that Mother and Father will be watching over me, to know that, if possible, they will be avenged.

(This is the hardest thing I have to do, but we'll get through this. For everyone.)

(she starts to head out, gathering her fellow Rangers and family members along the way. She has yet to meet with Kotohime and Michael)

-the four foot tall machine now seems enthralled, crouching down into an awkward approximation of 'crouched down with legs crossed', albeit more angular and creaky-

Sunny : Nyat really..... Ummm hold on nya. *returns with one of her dragonfly drones that SHOULD auto translate*

-Kris just watches Sunny and Niqhayl, for now.-

Kotohime: *giggles* I suppose she is. But it's not like I'm real royalty any more. Everything was lost back then.

What is... oh my, words... not quite...

-scratches head-

How odd and marvelous indeed! They were right when they said the technology on other worlds is much more incredible than what the empire possesses...!

Ahem! I am Nickel! ... Oh, I was right, the words are similar, what do you know?

Vivian: Heh. Thought so.

Kris: (@Nickel) ...Nice to meet you, I guess... You can just call me Kris.

...And what's this about an empire?

Michael: ...wow. And...it's a shame that you've lost that world.

(he nods...and he takes out a wand, the very same wand he had to take on a Flandre Scarlet's behalf)

(This was the one that started it all...I always felt like I've been cursed, myself, but why...?)

(then Catherine checks up)

Catherine: You guys ready? I am.

Michael: Yeah.

Ah, hello Kris, pleased to meet you! I like your hood, by the way! Ooh, it's wonderful speaking so very much...! And people actually understanding, indeed!

-Nickel scratched his head-

Oh, um, the empire... I don't know a lot about it. Just that it's big, and it's the most advanced nation on my world. It's apparently got really great education and health care though.

Kotohime: I'm ready. *smiles* Let's go.

-And so Jack enters-

Jack: "Morning, everyone, new guy."

-he doesn't seem fazed at the appearance of said new guy-

-although this is probably because he was told just last night that the person who's tormenting his best friend also is tied to the universe somehow-

Kris: Thanks... The cloak and robe are pretty much what I typically wear...

(Catherine nods, and the entire group leaves the Aquabase. With the ex-Red Lightspeed Ranger as leader, they begin their trek to her old home...)

Jack: "Hey, Kris."

"And nice to meet you, Nickel."

-to Vivian- "Pretty well."

"My brain is still trying to comprehend the thought of an entire universe being tied to someone's lifespan, but other than that everything's good."

Kotohime: Oh my...
