-The three Rangers are forced on the defensive under the vicious blows of the Black Soldiers. Tommy manages to hold himself up, but he has to cover for the weaker Kelsey at the same time. Meanwhile, demons attack Catherine and the other team of Lightspeed Rangers, keeping them from coming to the rescue of Alyx and the other two.-

Kelsey: Gah! These guys are just too strong!

-There is the sound of shattering stone.-

Tommy: Alyx! They blocked the entrance! Now we can't run! What should we do?

Alyx: ...we'll just...have to keep fighting...until Catherine and the others arrive...

(Oh, God...I hope they get there soon...)

(he stands up and tries to shoot the demons again)

Catherine: FUCK! They surrounded us!

(oh, by the way? They're still outside the damn observatory)

Adult!Rika: I think I know a perfect idea on how to beat them! You know how your demons have weird-ass weaknesses? What if...?!

(she pulls out her iPod and plays a horrible song that makes the demons wish that they haven't crossed Rika Grayson that day. That horrible song? This.)

-The song is oddly effective, as it distracts the demons from the coordinated attacks of the experienced Rangers. Soon, they've cut a large path through the demon ambush and are ready to press in on the Black Soldiers.-

Tommy: They're here! I can hear them! ...and some strange music.

Adult!Rika: Oh, fuck yeah! (she does a fistpump as she kicks a demon in the head)

Catherine: Rika...I can't believe I'm saying this, but that worked!

(indeed, everyone else had been attacking the entire time, trying so damn hard to block out the music lest their ears bleed)

Alyx: ...

O__o

(however, Alyx is beaten again and again, this time to near-death)

N-no...

Chibi!Asagi: Oh. Remin's mea tha level grindin' level up trick from back home...

Vriska: Oh? Tell me more.

Chibi!Asagi: We had tha Dark Senate level up tha enemies, go tah a level where we can easily kick tha enemy's butts, and go nutso. Ya pretty much make yer foes stronger an' stronger steada wanderin' round, lookin' fer a challenge.

*Vriska grins* That sounds riiiiiiiight up my alley.

-A Black Soldier raises its battleaxe to deliver the finishing blow on Alyx...but it is stopped by Tommy, who drags Alyx back up on his feet afterwards.-

Tommy: Alyx, you gotta stay with us! You heard what that Demon said! You are the only one who can stop him! Leave these Soldiers to me and Catherine's crew! Take Kelsey and follow that demon into town! Please, Alyx!

Chibi!Asagi: Yeah!

Well, I dun tinks theresa Dark Senate heres on Hoenn, but if I finds one fer ya, I'll letcha know an submit a bill tah getcha stronger enemies if ya needs levelin' up in dah footure!

Alyx: But...Catherine's not—

(all of a sudden, one singluar blast occurs from right in the different fucking direction, right at the Black Soldiers. A blast that can be described as a bright one coming out of one's V-Lancer. Standing outside the doorway, clad in this outfit and holding a different type of V-Lancer that's specifically designed for her, is Catherine herself)

Catherine: Sorry to have missed the party, but regardless? The ceremony is fucking over. You will not try to kill my Other again tonight.

(Hal seems interested in what Asagi just said. If the Dark Senate can make the foes a person faces more powerful, who knows what they are capable of.)

-The Black Soldiers are thrown out of the way by Catherine's blast, and those that remain immediately focus on her as the biggest threat.-

Kelsey: ...wow. *is awestruck*

Tommy: Now! Go, Alyx!

Alyx: ...okay...

Catherine: Before you go, Alyx, let Dana heal you first. (she turns around to him in order to speak to him, and she turns to the Black Soldiers, staring them down)

(as Alyx leaves, and before Catherine's entire team can go in, Dana heals Alyx, but only just)

Dana: Take care, Alyx, and good luck!

Joel: Stay with us...

A!Kelsey: Yeah! You must win!

Alyx: I will...and thanks, guys. (he leaves the observatory and tries to find the demon)

(back at the area with the Black Soldiers...)

Catherine: So! (she twirls her special V-Lancer) You think you all can destroy Mariner Bay?! You must go through all of us to do it!

(as she says that line, this battle song plays as Catherine's Rangers' blasters attack the demons, along with Michael's Lunar Blaster (now that he has turned into the Lunara Knight offscreen) and Andreus' Aqua Jet. After that, Catherine's entire team is revealed. Her Rangers and Victoria are morphed, Adult!Rika looks like she's ready to fight, Andreus prepares a water orb, Michael is wielding his Lunar Sword, and Kotohime prepares a Spell Card)

Hal: @Asagi: New things in shops. Sounds cool, but I don't shop often. New people to recruit...sounds good if you need an army, but travelling to new places sounds awesome. Wonder if they have a bill for a portal to Mushroom Kingdom?

Chibi!Asagi: @Vriska Yeah, iddis! Jus' be sure you can handles dem!

@Hal Probablys!

Vriska: I'm sure I'll 8e a8le to. I'm tougher than I look.

-As Alyx leaves the Observatory, he becomes aware of what is going on over Mariner Bay. The red light of the lunar eclipse is shining down on Mariner Bay, and a giant magical circle is being created in the sky over the city. The centre of the circle is just above the rooftop of the highest building in Mariner Bay, and a red light is coming from there.-

Kelsey: *has followed Alyx* Oh my God...look at that thing. If he casts that on Mariner Bay, it will destroy the entire city!

Alyx: We'll have to destroy it. But unless if we can find the sorceror, how are we going to do it...?

(he tries to go to that building anyway, climbing on top of there)

(if there are any Black Soldiers left, Catherine looks at them still)

Catherine: Everyone! ATTACK!!

(her entire army fights against them. The Rangers use their blasters, Catherine kicks and punches them, Michael stabs them with his sword, Adult!Rika dancebattles her way to this song now on her iPod, Andreus uses Aqua Jet, and Kotohime uses her Spell Card, Maniacal Girl, in an attempt to beat them)

Hal: @Asagi: If they have it, why didn't they pass it yet?

(Hal tries to come up with a logical explanation for this.)

Hal: @Asagi: Maybe they thought the Mushroom Kingdoom is too weird by their standards?

(Hal had figured a place where the mushrooms make the consumer larger, flowers with incendiary properties, and leaves that make the consumer sprout raccoon ears and tails and let them fly if he/she has achieved a good sunning speed was considered a wierd place.)

-When Alyx and Kelsey reach the top of the skyscraper, the Dark Sorcerer is standing there, magic energy flowing around him. He turns around in surprise when the two appear.-

   You?! You are still alive? Hm, impressive. Then this will be our final battle. But I can tell you this right now, Red Ranger. That Buster will not be enough to defeat me. A shot from that in the state that you are now will not even leave a mark on my cape. Do you plan to kill yourself in your futile attempt to stop me, Red Ranger?   

Alyx: At this rate? I don't care. (he discards his blaster) I'll beat you with my bare hands if I have to. I'll even beat you with my secret weapon if I have to. Even if I do fall, you still have one other threat to worry about. My Other, the one who saved my life, Catherine Grayson. Even if I don't beat you, her entire family will.
