If this is true, am I allowed to say I Knew It!? I've been saying for a while that stuff like this would be an awesome idea.
A Sonic game consisting of nothing but Casino Zone levels? AWESOME!
DO WANT.
I sure hope they include the City Escape level from Adventure 2.
Discover the rest as the game progresses.Sounds pretty good.

I wish Sega wouldn't do this. The fans will get pissed that their favorite level wasn't included.
Nicochi already hates it, by the way.
In other news, water is kind of wet.
I have a message from another time...As long as they include Emerald Hill, Hydrocity and stages from Sonic CD...
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain....Eh. I admit, I did like some of the levels in Sonic 2006, but I digress. I just hope that they don't choose really bad levels.
What's with the lack of the 360? Sounds a little unfair to some.
Quest 64 threadWhy? We don't have anything to go by, not even any screens.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows....It's Nicochi.
Escape.I'm trying to give the man the benefit of the doubt. He can't possibly be that stupid... can he?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. You know, why are we getting worked up over the opinion of one person anyway?
How are they going to do this? I mean is it like you have a selection of levels choose from or do you progress in some way?

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Well, there's this. Apparently, more information will be given on the 22nd, and the gameplay will be akin to that of Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.^^^
And come on now. You just KNOW this'll feature Porcupine man instead of Sonic. They missed the perfect opportunity in Sonic 4, I don't see why they'd do any better with that.
Plus, the whole idea behind it is really dumb anyways. Remake a game, or don't. But don't pick a bunch of levels here and there that have nothing to do with each other.
I swear, Sega. Your ideas just get stupider and stupider.
Those're his words.
I have a message from another time...Let me make a little guess: some Deviantart user going by the screen-name, Greg the Cat, made a post in agreement with this nutcase.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. He does have a point. This game could run into pacing problems.
And it appears that there's a translation issue going on.
The anniversary one is a remake in 2D and 3D (As Unleashed, he dropped that but he didn’t said that clearly). Well, when he said that it will going to be a remake of the best Sonic levels, I asked him: “In 2D and 3D?” and he said: “In 2D AND 3D” , then I asked him again anyway “But in 2D and 3D” (and I pointed out the Colours game) and he replayed pointing out the same game: “In 2D and 3D”
This is confusing as hell. We should wait for some confirmation.

^^ No...
It was someone called (And I'm not making this up) Carjack Osama
I have a message from another time...I think they mean the 2D levels will be 2D and the 3D levels will be 3D.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyProbably, GG. I didn't enjoy how Sonic Unleashed did it, truthfully. Half the time, it felt as bad as the Mach Speed section. I kind of enjoyed the Werehog levels a bit, though.
Quest 64 threadBLASPHEMY.
Nah, just kidding. I do think the day levels in Unleashed were awesome though.

Discover the rest as the game progresses.I admit, I'm intrigued. We'll see where this goes.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhh I have my doubts. I find the source incredibly untrustworthy, for starters. Shadiwulf is a complete idiot, and I know that from experience, and I find it incredibly hard to believe that he'd have the kind of connections or inside info to get something like this.
The game itself? If it's true, at least Sega's being honest about the whole remixing thing, unlike Sonic 4: Episode 1, which is basically composed entirely of rehashed content which Sega pretends is new.

Hmm.
If (IF) it's true, it will be a compilation of some of Sonic's best levels, updated for current gen consoles and featuring both 2D and 3D gameplay (Although how that will work exactly is not confirmed.)
