Regions have never been restricted by what plants/animals can be found in their real-life counterparts. Unless you're gonna tell me that Kyushu has cacti, Hokkaido has hippopotami, New York has baboons (and cacti again), and Hawaii grows native mangosteens?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Out of curiosity, what non legendary Pokemon can stand up to Mewtwo? Like be a counter to it?

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Aegislash, Sableye, and Alolan Muk come to mind, as does anything that can outspeed it and inflict negative status on it, such as Klefki. Mewtwo doesn't really have an answer to being paralyzed or, in the case of Mega Mewtwo X, being burned.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Gotcha, thanks.

Personality complaint is meaningless when Incineroar, the supposed "singular personality" pokemon, has appeared three times with three different personalities. Also it's a silly complaint - let me tell you Charizard wouldn't be as big without Ash's asshole Charizard paving the way.

Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Still I would like to see a region that was to not be based off any real world regions like one that’s entirely underground. Especially if Game Freak were to go all out with the region. If they were to look at any influences I think the Underground from Video Game/Undertale and Crocodile Isle from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest could work

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The Game#860.5 - Morgrem live in dark forests, where the lure in unsuspecting people and Pokemon to attack in the dark. By manipulating their constantly growing hair, Morgrem can perform sneak attacks while their opponents’ defenses are down. They are known to do false acts of forgiveness, luring in opponents and getting down to their knees, before stabbing them with the sharp end of their hair. With age, Morgrem become stronger and more brutal; their quickly developing hair wraps around their body, acting like additional muscle fibers to enhance their strength.
I have just won against an Oceania finalist, though admittedly it was a best of 1.
Where there's life, there's hope.It's basically Alola.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Do you think a region that were to be mainly comprised of regional variants, evolutions of older pokemon, pre-evolutions of older pokemon and evolutions for regional variants have any appeal?
It’d be interesting to see Game Freak try and experiment with just doing regional variants, evolutions, and baby pokemon.
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameThere were still new pokemon that didn’t evolve from or into older Pokemon. I’m talking a generation with only regional variants, evolutions of older pokemon, baby pokemon and evolutions for regional variants introduced. No new pokemon that aren’t connected to any older pokemon.
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GamePossible, but unlikely, there would likely still be some pokemon that are unrelated to older pokemon (if only because of starters, mascot legendaries, mythicals and pikaclones)
If they're developing new Pokemon anyway why would they ever do that? Other than to say that did?
Personally, I think that ideally they'd stop making new Pokemon species once we reach 1000 and just rotate between the old ones for each region afterwards.
Somehow thats even worse than thr above.
I think that ideally for the starters in a potential region that were to contain only regional variants, evolutions, and baby pokemon, that the starters of said region would have their next two forms be new pokemon.
3 examples
Grass/Steel variant of Turtwig based off pine-tree’s (which are able to handle the coldest temperatures) and would evolve into a new pokemon that were to have its shell house a single pine tree
Fire/Ice Variant of Chimchar based off Japanese macaques that were to evolve into a new pokemon based off that animal.
Water/Ground variant of Piplup could be based off African penguins which are notable for living on a beach in Africa called Boulders beach and would evolve to resemble the african penguin more.

He thinks Gyarados is a weirder pick than Pachirisu. Gardevoir's bulk is more impactful on the games.

Where there's life, there's hope.I think it would be neat if a region starter is the Pikaclone. Fire/Electric and Grass/Electric would be the type combo used since Lanturn and a few other Pokemon have Water/Electric covered already.
But none of the Pika-clones have had evolutions since Gen 2.
If the next generation were to not have the region be based off a pre-existing region in our world. What would you want to see?
I think a region that took place entirely underground similar to how Undertale took place in an entirely underground world, would be a great idea. Maybe take influence from Donkey Kong Country 2 and Undertale’s worlds when creating them.
I’d love such a region since it wouldn’t be restricted to the animals of one country or region when coming up with new pokemon.
Having starters that wouldn’t follow the typical conventions would be an interesting choice. Imagine having to choose between a Grass/Steel Stegosaur, a Fire/Ice Triceratops, and a Water/Ground T-Rex.
I think if Game Freak were to break the mold with the regions pokemon. I think it would be interesting to have the regions Pikaclone be the middle stage of a starters. Maybe for example we get a Grass/Electric beaver lines alongside a Fire/Ghost dog line, and a Water/Fighting deer line for example.
I also hope that the tradition of the regional bird that evolves to not have a normal type like Talonflame and Corviknight continues.
