Cancel the anime and release the merch anyway. Problem solved. And the anime will finally die.
Usually that's the case. ORAS is the exception and gives it to you after you get your last gym badge, and some of the Victory Road trainers use foreign Pokemon like Sigilyph or Darmanitan.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! It's not a case of balance, since Bank generally hasn't been available for months past each new generations' release date and Home wont' be ready until 2020. Those foreign monsters aren't in the files at all. Which is to say, short of patches (which won't happen, Gamefreak doesn't patch their games except for bug fixes) they're simply not a part of the game in any capacity and won't ever be.
@Karxida: I think you know as well as I do why that wouldn’t happen. Let’s face it, while this has certainly gotten some traction, no one running a multiple media franchise is going to look at this issue and say that is is more important than literally everything else.
Anyway, I have a question...does anybody REALLY feel that every single Pokémon MUST be coded into the game? I mean, I’m sure that there are at least a few that some of us wouldn’t shed any tears over if they fell off the face of the earth (sorry, Finneon...).
Oh God! Natural light! The problem many of use have is that it feels like Gamefreak doesn't have a real excuse for it this time. With Ruby and Sapphire, there was a leap in technology that made Gen 2-to-Gen 3 transfers impossible. In Gen 6 they created Pokemon Bank specifically to keep transfer issues from ever happening again, and it was relevant until the end of Gen 7. Now? It looks like major half-assing on their part.
As bizarre and perhaps anathema it might be, I wonder how Kalos and Alola would fare if the Fairy type simply were to not exist at all, but Dragon types still get nerfed by lowering the base power of all their moves by 20 to 40 points...

oh look,more fairy h8
New theme music also a boxNot exactly, just looking into an example of a what-if scenario. Another one would be if the Dark type didn't exist at all. And if you think that you can get away with telling me to be reasonable, I'm going to take a page from Jim Sterling's playbook (with citation) and say that I will never, never be reasonable again (See the Dragon's Frown video for more details).

Apparently, Megas and Z Moves aren't gonna be in SWSH either.
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"I assume this also includes "What if Steel didn't exist"?
Pretty much, yes.
Man what is with you and the fairies
Oh really when?hes denzel crocker clearly
New theme music also a boxNot really Denzel Crocker... more like the hypothetically possible Unholy Demon God that may have created Anti-Fairies who has Denzel Crocker as my High Priest...

Fairies are cool. I like 'em.
Fairy-types should have been introduced a gen or 2 earlier. And more pokemon should have been given the type when 6 started to retcon them.
We had walking and running animations for the ENTIRE DEX in Sun and Moon.
It was less of a bold claim and more of what I assumed to be common knowledge. The futureproofed models come from interviews with gamefreak.
By the way, the gameplay video at youtube is now sitting at 27 thousand dislike to 13 thousand likes. Game Freak has a goddamn PR nightmare on their hands.
If they screw it up and/or do nothing, Sword and Shield probably won't kill the franchise but maybe put it on the backburner to such an extent that we would be lucky to get a new Pokemon game once every five years or something...

Or you know, games have short attention spans and all that
New theme music also a boxThe franchise won't die, it is literally the most profitable franchise in the world. Which is why this is ridiculous; HIRE MORE PEOPLE AND OPTIMIZE THINGS.
Then again, IIRC, these games had copypasted files everywhere they were needed, rather than referencing a single file. And even I can see that as pisspoor programming.
Still, great to see the bullshit being called out. Now gotta pay attention at how this affects TP Ci in the stock market.
Dunno if the problem is with the power of Dragon type attacks, or with the fact that Dragon types have quite the move pool and really high stats to kill you with.
Wake me up at your own risk.I have given my two cents on the other thread already, but in any case: I assume this kind of thing was gonna happen eventually, but that doesn't mean they can simply ignore non-Galaran Mons forever, so something must (and likely will) be done. And pretty quickly, preferably.

... And that's called jazz!
TPC has really strange policies on what can/cannot be said.
But on the other hand the interview also said that a restricted Pokedex is going to be the new normal so maybe not.
In any case I doubt I'll be buying SS unless the full Pokedex is in there.
