I don't think I have done so. Anyways, I imagine that Game Freak will have a field day with coming up with Pokemon if they make a region based on India.
Have you ever poured a cup of water into three feet of snow?
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIf Sound type becomes a thing, make Dark types resist it/super-effective against it as nocturnal creatures rely often on sound.
Dark Type Pokemon are assholes, not nocturnal. I mean, some of them are nocturnal, but that comes secondary to them being assholes.
No. Let me guess: the snow melts.

I think India is too big and diverse to base a SINGLE region on

Ooh, that's a good point. At least three regions, maybe five or six for a Pokemon world equivalent of India? I mean, America has had three regions based on it so far: Orre, Unova, and Alola.
Good point. My post is edited.

Three if you count Alola (Hawaii).
I will also guess that the Island of Sri Lanka could be diverse enough to warrant being either a whole region to itself or being part of a region if it were to appear in the Pokemon world.
Since people usually bring up a possible Brazil-themed region for the future, I could say that it also has an immense regional diversity that would take a few regions to accommodate properly.
... And that's called jazz! That is true. Here's a move that Arcanine, Mightyena, Houndoom, Granbull, Lycanroc's Midnight Form, and Stoutland could theoretically get: Moonlit Howl, a Dark type status move with 5 PP. It boosts their speed and physical attack by three stages, but for five turns afterward their moves cannot be manually selected; the computer will automatically select what moves they will use on their turn and which target they will attack in Double Battles or Triple Battles. This is supposed to represent a berserk state where they will attack anything in sight.

Update: Bouncer has shredded through the Bug-type gym like it was nothing. Nothing! It was a perfect moment: for one second, Bouncer was but a weak baby, but suddenly, at level 10, bam! Evolves into Marill at last, and immediately learns both Defense Curl and Rollout which, apparently, combo. It's not really the ultimate strategy, but Rock beats Bug and for now I'm not exactly losing many important moves for it. Sweet revenge on all around there.
My initial thought was to ultimately make Bouncer a relatively defensive Azumarill, but theoretically I could grab an Ability Capsule later — swap her over to Huge Power. Which would be a pretty dramatic shift: it'd double what would otherwise be a mediocre Attack stat. But poor Bouncer is Timid (-Attack), and I'm not sure how much grinding is involved in the Battle Maison. So maybe I should just play the hand I've been dealt? Obviously this is just for the base game and without breeding, so I'm not too fussed about over-strategising.
In any case, two new team members. A Rash Flabébé ('Gardener') and a Timid Ralts ('Barmaiden'). I don't really know in what direction I'm taking these names, but I'm sure it's going somewhere, I tell you. I'm deliberately trying to vary my party a bit when it comes to battles, though admittedly I've left XP Share on because it just doesn't really come with any downsides.
Ralts I'm pretty familiar with, though Flabébé threw me for a moment. 'But Lavaeolus, just because someone's holding a flower doesn't make them a plant! You fool, you nincompoop.' True, but it's another odd case of a Pokémon using a type that it's not actually part of (the Flabébé line is pure Fairy, but it learns primarily Grass attacks), though unlike Azurill it never matures into a different type.

Regiflex is a beautiful and horrifying sight.
Those are some cool designs.
Interesting designs in that video.
Anyways, is Moonlit Howl good, does it need work, or should it be scrapped entirely because it's useless for the metagame (then again, I don't play competitively)?
Oh, an addendum to Windy weather on the last page: Sky Attack doesn’t need a turn to charge in Windy weather. Though it would probably need a nerf in that case; a 140BP move with a boosted crit rate and a flinch chance on a Pokémon that’s protected from super effective hits is pretty nuts even with the usual downsides of weather wars.
Oh and Gale Wings could be rewritten (again) to activate in Windy weather. (A priority 140BP move with a boosted crit rate and a flinch chance on a Pokémon that’s protected from super effective hits! Yay!)

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.how am i suppose to use a quiet nature mewtwo in let's go competitive scene

Honestly would it even be worth playing Let's Go competitively when Gen 8 is right around the corner?
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!If you're that interested, I guess, then go for it. If not, then I guess it may not be worth it.
I'm still working on my breeding projects to be done by Gen 8. Got 5 left to go until then. Saved the worst for last; Riolu. Baby mon, evolves with happiness in the daytime, and I've got Ultra Moon. Oof.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*I want Ice types to resist something other than themselves, you know
A Flying resistance cause Flying is apparently good offensively.
Secret SignatureThey should resist water
Oh really when?Does Ice not already resist Grass?
Nope, it really only resists itself. Resisting Grass wouldn't be a really big consolation either.
... And that's called jazz!
Have you ever held an ice cube under your faucet while it was running?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
