Got ORAS now, had to spend a lot of time looking for a Ralts because not only were all the ones I was finding female, the one male I got had a Modest nature. I probably shouldn't care much about natures for completing the game, but that was just going to gimp my Gallade badly

in my time we were happy if we got a Ralts at all, and there weren't any fancy shmancy Gallade people *grumble grumble*

Well, contrary to a surprisingly popular misconception Gardevoir evolves from both male and female Ralts, and it would be strange to specifically hunt for a female one, or even consider reasons why would one be interested in a female Gardevoir. I don't know anything about that and I never used any SFW crops of Gardevoir doujins as my avatar.

After you catch at least one Ralts, you can use the DexNav to find more Ralts easily.

Gardevoir is pretty feminine in appearance though, so it's not exactly hard to believe people would want a female one just because they find it more fitting.

Yeah, Dex Nav is very useful for that.

and you might ask me: Sídhe, but what is the purpose of buffing Com Mons if you could plow through the game with an overgrinded Luvdisc?

I will respond that the whole game is full of this kinda stuff◊ iris i hate you so much why is this game about funny cute monsters fighting pretend fights full of level 100 trainers

If you're making a Mega, do Pachirisu

Lightning Rod, with hefty boosts to survivability will make the Dawnsquirrel much more troublesome in Doubles.

What about Mewtwo?

Raichu has lightning rod in the hack ofc. I forgot about that.

Pachirisu is... not much has been done. Volt absorb/Pickup, special attack that is actually usable. Fake tears. Eh.

Azumarill+Skill Swapping mon+Double Battles=Huge Power Regigigas+dead me.

Drayano probably has the best hacks out there because he actually doesn't make that many changes, comparatively.

A lot of hacks have fakemon, terrible pretentious stories (see: dark rising), poor gameplay balance, among various other problems, but Drayano kept it simple and just made a more intelligent "balance-patch" to the game for more hardcore pokemon players.

i'd highly recommend his hacks to anyone who wants to experience gen 4/5 in a new way. i'd go so far as to say they're more enjoyable for me to play at this point than the vanilla games.

Agreed on that.

Fighting/Flying Farfetch'd with a buffed moveset is a particular favorite of his improvements. Serperior also gets Contrary and Dragon typing and is so powerful with Leaf Storm and Draco Meteor that I boxed mine in his Black before the Elite Four.

Ledian with usable attack and Iron Fist, as well as the all elemental punches and Drain Punch is pretty awesome too.

I feel Caterpie would benefit from a more diverse movepool. Also 200 more points in every one of its base stats.

I always make sure to catch a male Ralts for any Gardevoir I'm raising just so I can name it Hedwig.

I can't really run Black White/Black White 2 all that well on my laptop so I can't really enjoy Drayno's hacks.

DS emulation's a bitch anyway. You need to have a top of the line computer half the time just to get it to run at above 5%.

That being said, it turns out Platinum was just a really slow game anyway. Oh well.

Just beat the Pokémon Trading Card Game GBC game! It was hard at first but got easier and easier as I went along, mainly due to the AI being dumb.

I think the funniest part was when I defeated Rod's mighty Dratini and Magikarp with Level 12 Pikachu in 3 turns. I didn't even get knocked out. That or Murray stalling himself to death because he never actually bothered to attack me.

it's always funny when you win in 1 or 2 turns because they don't have any benched Pokemon, too.

Ever tried to change the renderer or something to that extent?

Granted, I only played Elite Beat Agents and Ghost Trick and Radiant Historia on it, but my Nexus '12 doesn't chug at all with Drastic.

My Athlon 5200+ that I bought in 2008 and it was not top of the line even then doesn't chug at all. I use SoftRasterizer on my FX6300 / 7850 with everything on max and I'm doing gr8m12.

Are you sure you aren't 4x-ing the internal resolution? I think you would have noticed because it does this◊ to games.

Haha you remember his first 4th gen hack? Fire Red Omega turned out okay because the hacking was well understood at this point.

I don't even remember how it was called. Spirit Gold! But man was it ever shitty. I think he couldn't just place item balls on the ground, so you had to steal various important items like Toxic Orb from various trainers, listed in a doc file, not rematchable. He went way overboard with various buffs, Farfetch'd had like 600 BST. You had to constantly save and reload because it hanged up like every 20 steps. I nuzlocked it back in 2010. I did not go very far in that hack, only caught a Breloom with Poison Heal and intentionally poisoned him against some bug to steamroll Whitney.

I just had an awesome idea of running through his gen 4 through 5 while letting you choose the team. I can youtube the important trainers because I don't think anyone gives a shit about me enough to watch livestreams of me dying repeatedly to level 100 Olympus Mons during European evenings. Is it awesome or is it awesome?
