Girls' love / Yuri

Thanks for the recommendation. This is pretty cute so far! The designs have a nice balance between cute and realistic-sexy, which feels somewhat rare for yuri drawn by women, somehow? It feels like most authors don't put quite as much focus on sensuality.

Edit: Whoops, misread the author's name, so it's not actually certain at all whether it's written by a woman.

The one I just mentioned? Sadly, the author's twitter doesn't really clarify anything.

So, is it finished or not? MAL lists it as ongoing but they are pretty slow.

Also, has anyone read Fuzoroi no Renri? One of my friends recommended it to me when it was still being published on Pixiv and in 2019 it got official print. It is not the best thing out of there but premise and the story itself are pretty unusual.

It's finished but that was only like... 18 hours ago? It's just MAL being slower than people will get around to translating something. Chapter 19 is the last one.

Oh. Ironically, Fuzoroi no Renri I mentioned above has a similar start. A girl in her twenties gets drunk in a bar after break-up with her boyfriend and ends up sleeping with a barman (18-year old deliquent-looking girl). It comes out that the girl has a pretty bad situation at home so she moves out to the M Cs flat.

The manga is mostly just cutre So L about a lesbian couple living together, though, it is quite more serious sometimes and more heavy on ecchi.

I like Fuzoroi no Renri, tho the artist does suffer from 'same face syndrome'. Its often hard to tell characters apart...

The Otherside Picnic manga is at the "Ninja Cats" arc, which I'm looking forward to reading. I also recently got the fourth volume of the light novel, though I haven't read very far into it yet.

Apparently Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou ("I'm in Love with Villianess") got to No 5 in Anime Japan voting for anime adaptation. Not sure if it will make the anime chances higher but still.

I'm honestly a bit iffy about it getting an anime. I feel like the director or some executive would probably ruin it.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm Spying On The Heroine In An Otome Game World was a stealth yuri all along. The protagonist seems way more into Maria than any of the guys.

Just to let you all know that Gunjo got a live-action adaptation on Netflix called Ride or Die.

All I can think when I read that title is long forgotten PS2 title. And I am slightly saddened that this isn't a yurified adaptation of it.

The localized version of Roll Over And Die volume 3 seems like it will be released on April 29 in eBook format. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Just pre-purchasded it yesterday. Hope to read a bit before sleep.

Ok Roll Over and Die vol. 3 finished. It took me a bit as I was busy most of the week and only had time to read before sleep.

Overall 4th arc was somehow different from the previous once. Mainly because it was closer to the classic LN formula storywise.

I won't dig in to much in the story to avoid to many spoilers. But it was good to see this arcs Church higher-up not being a bad guy. Also, the surprising reveal that Nekt is a girl. There were only two big fights but both were cool and the real global plot kicked off at the end. Also, I like the character development and it alo seems like VN version deviates from LN more and more judging by the current TV tropes article. I do not mind frankly speaking.

On the romance side, what's up with the author and age-gap yuri couples. While Flum and Milkit have only 3(?) years gap, Etherna/Ink is the other thing and it became evben more obvious this arc. And he also added Neigass/Sara into the mix it seems. Though, there was a bit of het romance also. I'm still a bit disappointed though, that M Cs have not even kissed yet.

Also, Etherna ais still my favourtrite character. She does not apper often, but then she does, she is either level-headed and cool or sweet and odd. And I like both.

And on a serious note, author still likes to throw the characters and items in the plot suddenly just for specific plot twists. Though, it's not as bad as most of L Ns do.

I should point out that that's the release of the physical version. The digital version will be out earlier: June 24.

Thats even faster. Less than 2 months after vol. 3.
