Well, I found it went pleasantly with Monster, so there we go. But my tastes are sometimes strange.

Sounds like a pretty good combo to me.

The blue full throttle works well with Tequila, for obvious reasons.

I forgot that sugar does not go well with alcohol for me. No more ice cream before drinking.

I’m not sure my drunken escapades where distinguishable from my normal escapades.

The lesson has been learned- when you only have $12 to buy whiskey with at the liquor store, you're better off not buying anything.

If you're down to twelve dollars, you're better off buying wine or beer. No good distilled spirits are available for that price.

I purchased some shot glasses, and they needed to be broken in.

You can maybe find some decent rum for around $12 or get 375 ml of something.

Fortunately, my house generally already contains alcohol. I make sure to buy things other people in the house don't like, too, to make sure I always have some. Smoky, peaty Islay whiskies, for instance, or gin — nobody else in the house likes gin.

That reminds me, I need to get some 15 year old Laphroaig.

Speaking of gin, I think I’ll make something with my Broker’s. Which is delicious, but going up in price as Broker’s becomes more popular. sad

I have no real idea what to look for in whiskey. I ended up getting a knock-off of Southern Comfort, which they sweetened to the point of undrinkability.

I have some Laphroaig right now — about a third of a bottle. Never tried Brokers — though I should.

Southern Comfort itself is pretty good, spring for the 100 proof stuff if you can help it. Jack Daniel’s is pretty good bourbon as well in all its various forms. If you see the Oregons 150th Birthday Jack at the same price as regular Jack, I suggest giving it a try as it’s comparable to Single Barrel but half the price.

Opted for a super dry, martini. A little easier and a change of pace from my usual Casino Royale martini.

On a scale of one to ten, it's 11:35 AM and I'm still drunk from last night.

How late was last night, though? If you went to bed four hours ago, that's no achievement; if you slept for twelve hours and are still loaded, that's quite something.

^Lots of fruit and water always help me, and sometimes I go crazy in popcorns for the added salt. But that might just be me, hangovers are often treated differently from person to person.

And right now I'm incredibly happy about my ability to sleep even after I've been drinking. Went to bed yesterday at 3 am, just woke up (3 pm), and no hangover whatsoever, except still being tired due to too much sleep.

Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango?

I failed to achieve drunkenness last night, but this thread has become the de facto talk about alcohol thread for me.

This party wasn't too bad, but then everyone started watching hentai for some reason x.x

shit I accidentally marked all as read (though this has more to do with using my droid than anything else). I guess this is karma for April Fools' D:

I take a shot of this whiskey, get disgusted by it, put it away for a few days, forget about how horrible it is, and break the bottle out again.

And now I'm drinking more of it, in the hopes that it will eventually stop tasting like battery acid. What is wrong with me

It tastes worse, the more I have. How is this possible.

One Mike’s harder lemonade, some Shaoxing rice wine so far.

Mike’s Harder lemonade was ok, but is a sad, SAD reminder that Oregons and Washingtons laws regarding drink contents is arbitrary and stupid. I can understand alcohol content, but does it REALLY make a difference if a company uses a little rum or vodka to flavor there drink?

Shaoxing wine was good, aftertaste is super bitter (as always), but the taste of that warm wine hitting our tongue for that first half second is just Heaven.

Stopped to write up a YNTTW, now to have some Belgium Blonde Ale.

^ I have only ever once discarded alcohol by giving it a dishonorable discharge from its bottle into the sink. This was horrible, HORRIBLE ginseng Korean wine.

Everything else I’ve manned up and drunk down. So, I’m not in a position to judge.

Cider and perry don't get nearly enough love, in my opinion.

Right. Still pissed off my face. Let's do this. Tonight I;

-Talked to an ex I haven't seen in years.

-Talked to my sister's ex who she hasn't seen in years.

-Attempted to and failed to sleep with four different women.

-Missed my first chance in a long time to acquire a half decent amount of cough'Oregano'cough.

-Nearly got punched out by my sister's ex for trying to steal his woman.

-Played wallflower in a club.

Why am I so amazingly jubilant then? I haven't felt quite so perfect in a long, long time. Who says alcohol can't solve my problems?
