We currently have a few committees that handle various tasks. While everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the discussions, it comes to the official committee members to vote if no consensus is reached. The current structure:

• The Over-Committee: this committee covers issues that affect the entire show, such as the cast size, animation style, episode length, etc. At this point the Over-Committee membership is pretty much fixed, though we may eventually add more members.
  • Karalora (Big Dawg aka Executive Producer)
  • Some Sort Of Troper
  • Ironeye
  • Bobby G
  • arks
• The Plot and Recurring Fictites Committee, which meets in the Plot thread. This committee is currently looking for more members.
  • Ironeye (Unofficial Committee Head)
  • Bobby G
• The Setting Committee, which deliberates in the Setting thread. It currently has no members.

Yay, you're back! It would be great if you could look over this post to help us fill the blanks (and correct incorrect information, of course), as well as head over to How To Write Season 1 and give it an update.

Is there a regular Vent? I can't find if there is..

Just log in to the TV Tropes Vent server at tvtropes.hostventrilo.net on port 9702 (this information can also be found by clicking that little "voice chat" button at the top of the forum pages). We've got a little room called "TVTtTVS Room" for TV Show business.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

I'd still be interested in contributing to this; it looks like it's going really well at the moment. Is there anything that needs doing?

If you have mad art or animation skillz, they will be most appreciated. You can also try out for one of the voice acting roles on The Cast page using the stock lines on the Casting Calls page.

If contributing to the plot/setting is more your style, make sure to check out these three threads. Right now we're also taking ideas for fictional characters for the Plot Committee to consider, so head over to this thread within the next 60ish hours if you'd like to add something to the list.

Finally, if you have some random ideas about pretty much anything, check out these threads.

I mean, the answer is yes either way as long as you're prepared to contribute, but we've been dead in the water because we don't have any artists.

Hi, I'd really like to join as a voice actor. Are there any specific sentences you need/want me to record or should I just send some random voice samples to Some Sort of Troper?

I think the best start would be to come onto Vent sometime and talk to the main contributors. I'm not sure if SSOT is working for the show anymore.

Also, if you know any artists, please try to get them involved.

I'll try to do that, though it could be difficult since I'm from germany, which might make time-zone-compatibility an issue.

How do I contact someone if I want to try out for voice acting?
