The statue is done! Now I just have to dig out the surrounding area so it can actually be seen whole.

Welp, I'm almost done digging out Flonne City.

Since last night, I have made:
- A horrible shantytown on top of a landfill (Miijhal helped a lot with this)
- A Palace Of Light that is reachable only by jumping on the tops of the shacks
- A desert
- Ancient ruins sticking out of the desert
Plus the usual roads and houses.

Took down the aboveground part of my silver spiral staircase. It was a bit of an eyesore.
Also built a 3-building tree village... and this.
Hmm. Unsurprisingly, it seems Minecraft was inspired by Dwarf Fortress.
It was also influenced by a game called Infiniminer.
Anyway, psyched for multiplayer indev/infdev, but it'll be months before it's ready for public release. Oh well.
A valuable lesson has been learned this evening- leave lava channeling to professionals.
Even I sometimes struggle with it. And I'm head of Lava Labs Inc.
Yes, but accidentally striking water, which ends up flooding the entire cavern system that you wanted to run lava through?
I've done that. You'd be amazed at how many times I've flooded that lab.

At your earlier question, my computer probably could run it, it isn't that bad of a system, but unfortunately it had to be rebooted about a year ago from a crash, and I can't get my graphics driver back up and running. Bleh.

For anybody who wants a house, they're going for rock-bottom prices in Palma. All you need to do is lay down furniture, and it's yours. As a bonus, there's room to expand upwards/downwards/outwards, and the restrictions on decoration are a lot less strict than in Flonne City.
Flonne City is quite strict, and you have to pledge your life to Flonne as payment.

Oh, the server isn't going to be up today. I've got studying out the wazoo to do an the only reason I'm typing this now is because I just woke up and I'm not exactly in a state that's good for studying.
Back home from school, so the server is back up.
It really is. I won't be on as much today, though. I'd like to finish Resonance of Fate in the next decade.
