During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

How did he pass the vote in the first place? Was he added before E Ps became mandatory?
I feel like for a long time there were certain mediums, short stories being one, people kinda allowed a less stringent set of criteria to be applied to. Of course these never made it to official rulings, hence why we're purging right now but it's my best guess at the psychology that led to so many of these going up in the first place, since many did indeed receive EPs.

Based on what I read, it's... not the longest story I read, and the story seems to be based on Wesley's horrific actions then any actual story, at least to me. About the heinous standard, many of the videos were panful, or even lethal to their participants, and even those that were not, are implied to be a torture since be trapped doing the same action for all eternety propably makes them very tired, and could eventually affect their minds. I understand that Regular Show have some very dark antagonist, like Mitsuru Shinehara, or Anti-Pops, or Internet, and propbably more that I am forgotting. But the Warden have doomed dozens or hundreds of people, to what in most of cases is a Fate Worse than Death

I'm waiting for Scraggle's word on Regular Show before I start stabbing at voting on anyone. From what little I know of the work, the Black Comedy heinous standard is ridiculous.
Michael do you have anymore reasoning for the cut? I trust you and I've found you quite analytical here but I'd like to hear more than just the word length before I weigh in. I don't think a large number of cuts is necessarily a bad thing—hell, if there's a large section suffering from the same problem it's useful to start hacking away—but I do want to be wary of us losing site of having thorough points for our cuts and not getting into the same "rubber stamping" mentality that's lead to so many bad keepers going up in the first place.

Having seen the show, especially when I was younger, there is definitely ALOT of Black Comedy when it comes to the heinous standard, so I'm not sure if anyone would count from the show, and the one person who definitely could have has redeeming qualities.

Eh, I can't say I'm entirely happy about all these cuts, but the rules are the rules and we can't change them.
Nobody counts in Regular Show now and I'd say as is nobody ever will, even the Warden. I reiterate the closest we ever got was arguably Klorgbane and he's failing the standard hard next to Anti-Pops.
Yeah, I could see a few characters qualifying if they were played a bit more seriously, but I don't think anyone keeps.

@43110 Well, based on what I read, the story seems to be a trial discussing a man's horrific actions, the summary of said actions, and then meeting his karmic end. Seems to be one of those, story only exists to make someone as bad as possible to me. And then's the Word Count, 3,000. I'm not sure if that's long enough or not. That's all I got so far, but if anyone can help me out on if Wesley is a guaranteed cut or not, I would greatly appreciate it.
