Not really ATMOSPHERIC, but I found the Zero Two and Miracle Matter battle themes from Kirby 64 pretty dark/eerie.

The Process, Goodbye Miss Havisham and Florida Queen by Sullivan might work.
I'd rather the world betray me, but I won't betray the world.Teargas and Plateglass youtube search. A little monotonous, but depressing as hell. Ambient soundscapes painted only in black and gray and dirty brown, with spoken word samples about genocide and atrocities.
It does have a grating industrial/cyberpunk edge I think would be good for Shadowrun.

You've lost. You're the Bomb Squad after the bomb's gone off. I'm the blast ongoing. Two songs by Pink come to mind, Funhouse and Please Don't Leave Me. Please Don't Leave Me is much more creepy if you've ever seen the music video for it (which is on Youtube, by the way).
If I'm asking for advice on a story idea, don't tell me it can't be done.Any music video that features Travis Barker will quickly descend into Nightmare Fuel. And insane clown posse.
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but because I'm going through a huge Angelspit obsession, I suppose I might post it. I'm not sure if the video works in all regions but...
Zelda Reorchestated's redo of the Dodongo's Cavern theme. It still gives me goosebumps.

"Wax on, wax off..." "But Mr. Miyagi, I don't see how this is helping me do Karate..." "Pubic hair is weakness, Daniel-san!"This far, and no Residents? I'm disappointed.
Holy shit, somebody else has heard the Residents.
Ran into Giygas's theme today.
Should listen through this thread...

ERROR: Signature not loadedA lot of stuff by PorcupineTree can count as Nightmare Fuel. Such as The Creator Has A Mastertape, What You Are Listening To, Deadwing, etc.

...on a gleaming razor's edge...Horrific Child: L’étrange Mr. Whinster. Probably qualifies as the High Octane variety.
It’s just been reissued on CD, and just in time for Halloween!

I don't know if you're still looking, but I suggest "Where the Wild Things Are" by Metallica which is creepy sounding and is about the corruption of children, and this:
