This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Sorry for the delayed response.
I was just trying to make the page a little more detailed and organized and I guess I unknowingly went about it the wrong way. Whenever my suspension gets lifted, I promise not to go crazy with edits anymore.
I don't feel like I really did anything, but maybe some grammer errors.. But anything to back to this... I guess, but I doubt it'll work. It never does...
~Ghngjnty: The problem is that you've received 13 separate warnings for editing issues (grammar, Example Indentation, natter, using first person in articles and Zero Context Examples) without improvement.

I come on and see a political agenda on your website. I go to alter my description, only to find it suspended. Now, I can guess the fool responsible for getting me in trouble is the reason why I got suspended, because I pointed out their hypocrisy, but I'm not going to claim to "know" and this was a guess. Another guess I have is some deluded fool claiming I'm doing the imaginary "hate speech" thing, but in the end, I can only ask, but I can safely say I wasn't violating any rules. If someone posts an example, I will gladly discuss, but this suspension is garbo. This is as peaceful as I can post it.

I fail to see how this works. We both know that I am not going to change the way how I act and react toward people. We both know that I'm only going to use the forum when I will be dragged there by moderation notice and otherwise ignore it completely, so aksing for being reinstated there has zero value to me, as I don't use it anyway. And we both know that plea would be just "oh please, oh please, I promise to be a good boy and won't cause any more trouble, no-sir!"
Why should I lie then? That's dishonest and low. If I'm supposed to lie and cheat to get my suspension removed and in the same time squirm like a worm, I'd rather remain suspended
OK. You have a wiki, query, and PM suspension, which does not affect the forums. Your suspension will stay applied.

Serious question - why this isn't a ban? I mean it's one effectively, but why bother going through suspension, leaving the appeal form, spend time talking and what not, if the decision was made already? What's the point? If it's just part of the protocole, I can understand that. If it's not, I'm genuinely confused.
The point of suspensions is not to be unappealable. Often, people who are suspended make a compelling case for their return. Sometimes, they make a compelling case for a full ban. It's not possible to predict ahead of the actual conversation what it will be.

I'm sorry and I promise to never edit that page again. I don't wish to make this a bigger issue than it already is. I've edited pages on here for five years, and this is the first issue that I've run into while doing so.

My ass. This is pure censorship. There is no "civil forum" with people who silence others who pose an alternate viewpoint. It isn't "biphobic" to say "bisexuality" doesn't exist.
