This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

What will happen to me?
I have been suspended from editing, and I'm not actually sure why. It's been a bit since I last edited anything, and I don't remember doing anything particularly suspension worthy.

Ah. That was because I was moving it to one that had capital letters, proper spacing, and the full title. And I didn't know how to delete the old one. It wasn't indexed, so I just removed everything from it.

~DATEMAY: We prefer your replies to be slightly more explanatory. Blindly charging into editing is never a good idea, and I'm not certain that you understand what it was that you did wrong. We want fewer Self-Demonstrating character pages, not more, because they are almost always either of low quality or do not add anything of value to the wiki.

I just found that I was edit suspended for some reason. I checked out the last couple days of edits and saw no issue raised with my posts. (I did get into a minor argument with My Final Edits, but we immediately resolved it.)
Edit warring on Characters.Cross Ange is what's listed in your file.

I admit to a little back and forth, but I had amended my edits accordingly where needed and clarified. Plus my last edit on that page was a week ago, making this a little random.
I have no clue why I was suspended. I want to edit again.

@Handsome Snivvy, you appear to be vandalizing our pages with a Nanny Bot. Yours in particular seems to have a severe Scunthorpe Problem. Even so, an sort of text replacement software is banned on the wiki because it edits the pages when you do.

Karjam, while we acknowledge your disability, we do not consider it as an excuse. We need quality topics in TRS and IP, and that means people need to do the work to present effective cases for change. If you can't deal with anything that is not completely literal, then you need to leave off and let others who can handle such things.

This is your edit reason. I'm sorry, but this is the end of our tolerance. If you won't be bothered to learn wiki policies, then you should no longer presume to feign surprise when you get suspended for violating them. We're done here. Be thankful you can still read the wiki. And yes, that is a threat.

~azul120: There is no statute of limitations on these things. We act when an issue is called to our attention. An Edit War occurs when you make sequential, competing edits to an article regardless of how you "clarify" or reword your statements.
We require, in these situations, that you work out the issue away from the articles themselves. For what it's worth, the other party was also suspended.

So it's been over two months since my suspension, and since then I've kept civil in my discourse and have not acted up in any way whatsoever.
May I please apply for parole? I promise that in any future edit wars, I'll take it to a forum rather than stir up a mess in the edit comments.
