Supposed Crowning Moments of "Funny"
- Gilgamesh's massive ego strikes again in Episode 24. Just look at how he proposes to Saber! Stabbing her in the leg with a sword, then telling her to give up her ideals and become his wife. When she (understandably) refuses, he states that he was not asking for her opinion, it's just what he decided.
- Horrifying as the scene's implications are, Gilgamesh getting angry at Kiritsugu for "interrupt[ing] my wedding ceremony" was hilarious.

The ending of Fate isn't anything like as sad as HF Normal, although that is mainly due to how the characters react to it rather than the nature of the ending itself.
Sure, Saber is gone, but Shirou accepts that and isn't really mourning her. Ilya is in the same nominal position as she is in HF Normal (i.e. dying in a year), but she has a family now, so her last year will be a happy one, and there is at least a possibility of her being saved. Sakura is probably worse off, true, but then there's still the chance of her being freed from Zouken (and I don't think it's that small a chance, particularly since Ilya is capable of things like soul transfer and uber-healing spells), and she could even end up with Shirou, in theory. There is, at least, hope there, whereas HF Normal doesn't really have any.

Fate Shirou isn't going to stick around Fuyuki. I think it's pretty much guaranteed that the only person he might get into a relationship with is someone that would be his partner and Sakura is just too downtrodden and domestic.

I'd assume Kuzuki gets stuffed in the fridge alot in the post HA fics, so Caster can be part of Shirou's harem , even though Caster's the type of Female YOU DON'T want in a harem... unless you make her queen Bee and Saber her... "Frustration" assistant

Arha: I think Rin would be quite sad that her sister is upset, and also that Shirou is gone (she does like him herself, remember). And, like I said, Ilya is screwed, whereas in Fate she's not.
As for Shirou, I don't see him abandoning his friends and family quite so easily. And, Sakura is perfectly capable of being his "partner", if freed from Zouken. She'd support him no matter what.
Frozen Wolf: Not really. I've never seen anyone write a fic which attempts to add Caster to Shirou's harem in HA. When it's done, it's usually done by just making Shirou the one to find her in the first place.

I always assumed Shirou wouldn't be with anyone after the Fate route and stay celibate because he'd always love Saber.

There is no way I'll believe that Sakura would do anything of note after Fate. It's definitely not in her personality to take action like that and Shirou isn't going to stick around just to get close to her. Especially since I don't think he has any interest in that sort of thing at that point, meaning he's going to graduate and leave.
^ Maybe, but Archer's backstory include him having a lover while being Archer, or so it is implied. That's probably a fair assumption for Realta Nua, but if not all Shirou's that go through Fate become Archer then not all Shirous get Realta Nua.
