What, you guys don't find Shirou getting boners for his adopted mother to be adorable?

What a bunch of weirdos.

Oedipal complex tales are dime a dozen.

On another note, John Wick would make for a hilariously broken Assassin.

I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot

Just a question, who is the most recent Servant in terms of when they were born/died.

Not counting EMIYA and Shiki Ryougi?

That would be Mata Hari and Nikola Tesla. Tesla was Born July 10th, 1856 and died January 7th, 1943 (aged 86), Mata Hari was born August 7th, 1876 and died October 15th 1917 (aged 41).

There are a handful that have lived into the 20th century. I think Mata Hari was the most recently born and Tesla was the one who died most recently.

That's not counting OC characters.

I don't remember the exact date but Helena and Holmes might be around that too considering that short story happens after they faked their deaths.

[up]Does Holmes even count, since he's an entirely fictional character?

Also, how long did Helena Blavatsky live in that short story? 'cause the real one died in 1891.

Technically, I think if they ever make Simo Häyhä as a Servant (likely Archer or Assassin), he'd take that title, as he was born in 1905 and passed away in 2002 at the age of 96.

Don't remember much about it.

Well besides her turning herself into a little gir.

Holmes counts cause he was her bodyguard.

Mata Hari, born 1876, legend centred around the First World War, is currently the youngest Heroic Spirit.

If you include original characters, then I believe the youngest is Emiya (born c. 1988)

Speaking of Archer, Archer does come off as being a jerk sometimes but I wonder if it is mostly out of pragmatism or cynicism?

Wait, FGO only uses "Altria" because of Type-MOON's interference?

Fucking hell.

Which is really weird cause every translation including the dubs for the animes use Artoria.

Yes, everyone knows that Altria is shit except for Type Moon. Even the FGO localization staff knows it's shit and they couldn't even romanize Lancelot's NP the same way twice in the same damn screen.

We're also stuck using Altria on this site because the single person in the entire fandom who likes that name made a fuss about it.

[up] Ay Dios.

There is always that one person. Even if something's universally disliked there is always a defender. Surprised that there actually is someone who likes the name change.

Though complaining about the name at this point is beating a dead horse really.

The mod is right we should stick to policy, but I do agree that they and the few defenders dont realize how much Artoria is preferred in the fandom and mot by a minority.

Not helped is that Altria is a legit goddess in mythology.

For what little it's worth, I absolutely refuse to call her by the name. If, for some reason, I end up editing a FGO entry about Artoria and have to use her name, someone else can come behind me and change it.
