It's her route.Everyone but Elizabeth wins those.
Secret SignatureEveryone alive in the known history of mankind are just reincarnation of people from the previous Age of Gods. If we ever get to see it, we'll see a lot of familiar faces.
This isn't your usual Arturia, struggling under a mediocre master. With Moon Cell Prana, she can cut loose, and just go medieval on people.

@Rob: Full-power Artoria is more powerful than Gilgamesh. He's only good because of Gate of Babylon.
All around me are familiar faces, worn-out places

Gil-kun was probably fucking around as usual, going "Eeeeh,Artoria-chaan?" and getting wacked for his troubles.
It's Gil.He only loses cause of that.Even if it's a crappy excuse.
Secret SignatureSo this is Arturia when she's not limited by both plot and her master then huh?
Never thought she'd be stronger then Gil, but hey, there we go.
I'm still surprised though. She's supposed to be pretty strong under both Rin and Kiritsugu, but is still weaker then Gil. I guess the Moon Cell is just all around awesome.
One Strip! One Strip!Word of Nasu (before Grand Order came out) is that Artoria is the strongest Saber, which is considered the strongest class.
Ergo, Artoria is the strongest Servant.
Making a Class the strongest was a mistake.
Secret SignatureWell, she does mention his NP is dangerous.... and blasts him before he has a chance to use it.

It's not that Saber is the strongest class, it's considered the strongest. Iirc, it's considered the strongest because Sabers tend to be Jack of All Stats with high all-round stats.
Well, The Grail War was not conceived as a balanced fighting game after all.
Also, I guess that when he wrote F/SN, the idea of Shirou getting the strongest Servant, but holding her back with his ineptitude appealed to Nasu. He always liked the Handicapped Badass trope.
Artoria wank always irritates me a little.
You and me both mate. I like her as a character, but goddamn
Gil stomps her in his sidestory, and while she's all about how tyrannical he is she immediately worries for him when he gets corrupted. Even she thinks her worse enemies don't deserve that.
Also I wouldn't count out Gil or Solomon for top position either. Both of them get Grand Caster along because of EX Clairvoyance, and knowing Gil if he actually tried aand trained instead of being lazy probbly counts for several other Grand Classes. He can even summon himself, something Goetia bullshitted Solomon could do.
Nasu makes the 8th Grand Class be Grand Gilgamesh because fuck us.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Non sword beam Sabers need some love too.
Secret SignatureCorrection: Saber is the "Most Outstanding" class. It's Berserker that is the "Strongest".
And honestly speaking, Saber did manage to decisively defeat Gilgamesh in the Fate route despite being nerfed by having Shirou as her Master, simply because she has Avalon in her possession to protect her from everything Gilgamesh could throw at her. And in UBW, Gilgamesh backed off immediately when she interrupted his attempt to kill Shirou near the end, because (as per the VN narration) he knows full well that he has no chance in hell of winning against her in a straight-up swordfight, and his the only way he could fight her is from afar with Gate of Bablyon's Storm of Blades buying him time to pull out and unleash Ea (which would work, given she doesn't have Avalon in this route).
At least it's something to mix up all the Gil wanking.
Doesn't she need to exit Avalon to actually attack.
Unless you mean the regen, surely he has some anit-regen N Ps there.
Secret SignatureOf course he would have an Anti-Regen NP somewhere. The problem is figuring out what would qualify for it. He probably could easily (well, more like "with trial and effort") find a collection of weapons to allow him to counter anything he needs, but he'd rather use the "try everything until something works" approach. He is a Nuker, not a Master of All.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! He really should keep someone in the damn vault to do inventory. Would make his days a lot easier if he didn't have to actually think what to shoot.
"Hey, I need the anti-dragon stuff"

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Artoria being the one to blast Sefar 14000 years ago was wrong, the scene in Japanese was only about how Excalibur was instrumental in beating it.
Messed up translation.
Yeah. I beat the game entirely, just working on sidestories and nowhere was it said that Artoria defeated Sephyr, just that Excalibur was used against her.
She drops out of Avalon to hit Gilgamesh with Excailbur at point blank. That's pretty telling.
I wonder who wielded Excalibur back then?
Is it possible the wielder was her father Uther Pendragon?
About Avalon, the Moon Cell gives her unlimited mana so she can abuse the damn thing all she wants right?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
That is interesting.
Wait? Wouldn't Gil stomp her thoroughly? How do it end up bad for him. Iskander I get since I don't think he can beat Arturia, but Gil...well, Nasu has been bending over backwards to make him as awesome as possible.
