The ending is a Wallbanger, personally.
Jonah FalconThis is the voice actor who did John Marston. Talk about coming out of nowhere...
Jonah FalconGreat game, I got on Sunday and finished it today. Still a lot of sidequests to do, but I got a lot of other games to play. Must say that it's nice that it kept me enthralled me throughout, GTA tends to bore me after a while. And it's a testament to the story that I liked John so much that I wanted nothing better than to pump that old bastard Ross's face full of lead, kudos to Rockstar for making him such a likeable anti-hero.

John sure was an angry man.
The side quests and challenges are half the fun and make it a tad bit easier to play. Some of the Stranger Missions are very amusing. Who were your favorite NPC's? One of mine was Landon Ricketts and the Indian you meet in the late part of the game.
Who watches the watchmen? In the storyline itself? Definitely Landon Ricketts. And Marshall Johnson.
In the side missions? Sam. Poor, poor Sam.
I agree. The side missions were all really interesting, even if nearly all of them ended badly.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.^^ I did the majority of the Stranger missions, but still skipped a good chunk. For NPCs, second Ricketts, also HERBERT MOON, Bonnie, Mrs. Martson, and Death, mostly due to the foreshadowing and that fact that my last meeting with him was during a thunderstorm to add to the effect.

^ Heh, I forgot about Death. Very nice the way they did that. Also, Luisa was a favorite of mine, which made Reyes all the more unlikeable.
Honestly, I thought Herbert Moon was the most annoying shopkeeper though, given that pretty much every word out of his mouth is anti-Semitic.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.^ Really must have not stuck around too long then. Oh well, I still find, I'M HERBERT MOON!, hilarious.

I am not sure which critter I hate more the damn cougars or the damn bears. Both are sneaky and bat you around like tee ball on a string and kill you in two pounces. Shot gun guys are easy its the damn rifleman I hate the most there are usually several in the same space.
Who watches the watchmen?I just completed The Assault on Fort Mercer, and I still don't think I'm that far into the game. (Roughly 33% completion, if I remember correctly, but I haven't looked at my stats in a while.) So far though, it's been absolutely great. Grand Theft Auto IV eventually bored me as Niko became more and more unlikable, the story began to go nowhere, and the missions became dreadfully hard and boring. And it never sat well with me that you couldn't choose to not be a dick.
John Marston's proven much more likable than Niko, and that's in addition to all the Wild West tropes the game uses so well. Best horse controls since Shadow Of The Colossus, interesting scenery and characters, and just god dammit I'm playing a Western. It's just too awesome.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.I wonder. Is the Mysterious Man Jack? I thought he might be Death, but it would make sense for him to be Jack.
Jonah FalconCheck the works page for the Mysterious man.
I have started another play through now that I know where to go and how to do most of the challenges it will be less of a pain I think.
Who watches the watchmen?Just finished it a couple of hours ago. Great game, though quite easy. I usually don't bother with side activities, but I actually enjoyed hunting in this game, took time off whenever I could to hunt some animals.
Doing a second run now, this time, I'm going full dishonor, also saving every single sidequest for Jack, just to see the different dialogue.
Anyone hear of what they have planned for DLC?
Who watches the watchmen?More sidequests, including a couple of Jack exclusives I hope.
And co-op missions.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I wouldn't mind maybe one or two more weapons in the mix. Something a bit more stealthy like bow the throwing knives are ok but you have to get way to close to use them and all enemies are pretty much holy shit there's a dude crouching by the rock.
Pro-tip on the knives. If you get walk up close kill with a throwing knife and loot the body you will get a throwing knife back but wont lose one.
Who watches the watchmen?I love some of the Enemy Chatter in this game XD.
"YEAGH! YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!"
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.^ Better than in Red Dead Revolver, that's for sure.
"ARGH! YA GOT ME, PARDNER!"

They released the soundtrack ON VINYL.

Finally beat all of the challenges.
These Guides are Helpful
The Buffalo rifle rocks. I have used it since I got it. I rarely use anything else.
The hunting challenges were interesting. I loved/Hated the Knife the bear one. But I can now say IN Soviet Russia You chase bear. Really chasing a Grizzly running away from me with a bowie knife was awesome. Dont use the knife on the legendary critters. Head shot with the buffalo rifle brings em down. The legendary bear takes two buffalo rifle head shots. Dead eye is your friend.
