because people also often comment on needing some indication of the end point of a Page Action.
This trope either needs a better title, or a merge. The problem is with so many wicks, its hard to tell if its being used correctly. I would suggest something like "I Forgot I Had Superpowers," but we already have that one.
Well Remembered I Could Fly describes itself exactly as "A subversion of Plot Induced Stupidity". Really that name would reflect that relationship.
Remembered I Could Fly is when they remember they have superpowers after looking like it's going to be a moment of Plot Induced Stupidity.

Idiot Ball is having to be stupid for a moment for the story to work. Plot Induced Stupidity is having some superpower or ability that could be used in the situation but not using it because it would make solving things too easy, Remembered I Could Fly is a character encountering a problem, going "Ohs noes, so difficult" and then realising "Oh yeah, superpower makes it easy."

...it was renamed for sounding like Plot Induced Stupidity.
OK so each crowner had some time on the main hook, they both also set a pattern and stuck to it with the top choices starting first and just going up and up.
We'll rename to Forgot About His Powers.

Well I dealt with all the side pages but the wicks are just under 300 so that will take some time. IIRC, the clock would lock the page automatically. Do we remove it then so that it remains open until I get them all?

The clock can't be removed, and it doesn't lock the page, it locks this thread and removes all tags from the page.

Right. Plot Induced Stupidity has been fubar for ages. The Idiot Ball examples weren't so much a cancer as several major limbs which were amputated, they're still growing back and the separation from Idiot Ball is weak-Plot Induced Stupidity is either exactly the same as Idiot Ball or an Idiot Ball where they forget to use their powers.
The previous discussion
was as successful as the Gordon Brown premiership (political humour, ha!) but dear god, this page has over 300 wicks and over 3000 inbound wicks. Is this forum so unfit for purpose it can help with a relatively high profile page?
I request a countdown clock to go with a crowner. By the 13th, we come up with something or we merge. We don't delete, we just put in the redirect line and if anyone starts to actually care then the material is there.
