In Ocarina I always noticed that when Ganon's Tower collapses, it doesn't fall apart, it has the various parts sort of just slowly lowers. Like, right here the main tower is descending, and the level around it is also descending, and for a little bit it looks like the entire thing is becoming a perfectly flat arena for you to fight on, though in the next shot you only see assorted rubble.
So I am continuing Tears of the Kingdom and currently in Zora's Domain.
Two assessments, with spoilers just in case.
1. I am saddened that you can't get the full Zora set before the temple. Zora set always felt the most pointless compared to the other region sets even in Bot W.
2. Although I only got to the entrance, it appears that Sidon will only stay with you in the Water Temple, which I found to be disappointing. Also, I question why this temple us in the sky. Wouldn't it made better sense to be located in the reservoir as an underground network of water caves? Then Sidon could be with you on the ground region.
-Witty line-Regarding your second point, many people had the exact same question. And as pointed out by a Youtuber who likes doing Zelda dungeon reviews, it would have made sense to put the temple somewhere beyond the reservoir in order to make it so each layer of the game's overworld is represented equitably within the first four dungeons: Sky (with Wind Temple), Depths (with Fire Temple), Mainland (with Lightning Temple), and Caves (with Water Temple).

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300same as I thought the water temple is the most lacking in the game by being in the sky.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMEOn instruments in Smash: Does Sheik play her harp in one of her taunts? I have a feeling showing off music skills is exactly what taunts are for (well, except for Ganondorf's organ, but that one's a little unwieldy).
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."It would have made the sludge problem more of a mystery aspect to solve if it was coming from below and contaminating the ground water that then flowed into the region's rivers. It would gave also given the Zora the appearance that they could combat the sludge instead of "Oh, we know where it's coming from. We just can't reach the sky period. Shit." In fact it looked like they were going that route of locations being underwater with that waterworks area under the Reservoir that opened the waterfall to the sky. But then, nope, all in the sky like the Rito one, but that one made sense and had a partner who could follow you around.
Since I did Rito first and then Zora, the difference between how much area Tulin and Sidon accompany you is staggeringly opposite.
-Witty line-The real standout issue with Sidon is that there's really no reason he couldn't stick with you. Even the difficulty of having him able to traverse isn't really a good reason, because the game just lets the partners appear next to you after a period of time stuck away if such a situation where they can't reach you comes up.
Meanwhile on Goron, you are accompanied almost the entire time. And in Gerudo you aren't but there's in-universe reasons that you aren't.
Sidon is just handwaved as "Okay, Link, its time to divide and conquer!" Sidon, you better have fought Hyrule Warriors-amounts of monsters running ahead, if you want that to be all the justification we get!
Finished the Master Quest map in Hyrule Warriors, on to the Endless Night map. I cannot for the life of me figure out how Medli is supposed to work. A strong attack fills the orange bar and then... what? How do you spend it? Apparently you're supposed to dodge in midair, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
Also disappointed to see Medli doesn't drop unique materials. She drops Ruto's materials instead.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Sidon is just handwaved as "Okay, Link, its time to divide and conquer!" Sidon, you better have fought Hyrule Warriors-amounts of monsters running ahead, if you want that to be all the justification we get!
Yes, when he was like "Let's split up, gang!" leadimg up the destination, I sat there dumbfounded that the party member for this region decided to just leave. Its like in Bot W. At least the other Champions had excuses not to go into the Divine Beast.
And the split up accomplished noting at all except to not give you a partner in the sludge that his ability specifically is used to counter.
This is why the temple should have been on the ground.
-Witty line-Yeah, none of the characters who were DLC in Legends have their own materials.
Medli drops Ruto's, Marin drops Zelda's, Phantom Zelda drops Tetra's, Ravio drops Young Link's, and Yuga drops Ganondorf's.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, that's lame. What should they drop instead? Medli's Feather and Medli's Talon? Marin's Hibiscus? Yuga's Gorgeous, Flowing Locks?
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Tingle's Balloon and Tingle's Tuner!
Tingle does drop unique materials, though! Tingle's Map and Tingle's Watch, iirc (although Tingle's Tuner is a much better idea).
By the way, I had a dream that Nintendo announced DLC for Definitive Edition featuring "two fan-favorite characters," who turned out to be... Charlie from Hazbin Hotel and some kind of Tin-Can Robot called "Jazz."
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?The Spirit Temple should've been in the sky (the domain of the Zonai) and the Water Temple should've been on the surface, slightly underground (it makes no sense for sludge to be seeping to the surface from the depths when the depths have such a high ceiling and is made of rock). Maybe move the Lightning Temple to the Depths.

Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? The spirit temple sould be a "little bit of everything" as it starts on the surface with the ring at kakariko, then goes to the depths to build the mecha and the go to the sky to get the stone after the puzzles and boss on thunderhead isles.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMEWater Temple should have been in a long cave behind one of the many waterfalls in the region, maybe in the far back north east in order to utilize that mostly empty area.
-Witty line-@Thrice Charming: re: Charlie in Hyrule Warriors DLC dream
...
Okay, now you're starting to make me want to see Koei-Tecmo make a Hellaverse Warriors.
The choice of materials dropped by the dlc characters do make sense but I would like them to have their own materials to drop.
Medli drops Ruto's materials because she is a descendant of the Zora Laruto.
Marin drops Zelda's materials because she was mistaken for Zelda when Link first met her.
Phantom Zelda drops Tetra's materials because she is Tetra's granddaughter or great granddaughter.
Ravio drops Young Link's materials because Young Link is the Link he looks most like.
Yuga drops Ganondorf's materials because he possessed Ganon's body.
"May your heart be your guiding key"What's crazy is that I've never even seen Hazbin Hotel. It's like my subconscious spun a wheel to come up with a character. And then was too lazy to do it again.
I still think it's crazy that Yuga successfully possessed Ganon. In the Zelda hierarchy of evil, Ganon is second only to Demise! He's not supposed to roll over that easy. And then Yuga (and Lorule in general) were never seen or mentioned again. It feels like they should be a much bigger deal than they actually were.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Yuga is a parallelogram of Ganon so it stands to reason that he occupies a similar hierarchy in the evil algorithm.
I personally like the idea that Yuga possessing Ganon also resulted in Ganon being able to influence Yuga in turn and made him more violent.
Consider that Yuga boasts that Hilda will be happy to no one in particular in his first scene, prefers to incapacitate Link, and generally isn't psychotic.
Then by the endgame he's desiring the triforce to destroy Lorule and Hyrule to remake it in his image, and is disloyal to Hilda.
It feels like Ganon's malice started affecting Yuga.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I still think it's crazy that Yuga successfully possessed Ganon. I always took ALBW to be a Standalone What-If kind of game just used to answer people's wondering "If the Triforce gives this much trouble and bloodshed to the kingdom than why don't they get it rid of it altogether" and this game is like "LOL, nope. End of the world otherwise."
-Witty line-@Thrice Charming that because Demise's curse is what effecting Yuga in the first place and as Ganon is a mentally dead shell at that point makes him a living grab bag of the curse, also the games after ALBW is Zelda 1&2 so there's not much to talk about by then.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIMEIronically, the lore states that the Dark Links you fight as part of Street pass battles were formed from Ganon's hatred of Link after his defeat in ALTTP.
So things are going full circle.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.
It was supposed to be a Paper Mario setting, but Ganondorf stole it.
