I could see some of it but the end of the franchise is such BS. I could see how some of the spoilers lead into a remake/second take on origins but that one spoiler just makes this BS.
You know looking at the spoilers wouldn't it have been better to call the remake Dragon Age: Dreamers Origins. That is another thing that makes this come across as fake.

While the "leak" is obviously fake, I can believe that they might use Dragon Age 4 as a grand finale. I've been wondering if they were going to do that for a while now; Bioware is currently under the ownership of Electronic Arts, a company famous for buying up game developers, mismanaging them, and then burying them when they don't turn profit. And Bioware's recent games haven't exactly been Bioware Magic if you know what I mean. They haven't been a household name in almost ten years.
There is a decent chance that EA celebrates Dragon Age 4 finally being released by promptly shuttering Bioware and adding their name to the graveyard of developers they've destroyed. They've already lost Baldur's Gate, and Anthem was a flop. Nobody liked Andromeda, strangling that spinoff franchise in its crib. All Bioware has left are Dragon Age 4 and something something Mass Effect maybe.
And don't think the team at Bioware don't know that. There is a very real possibility that this game will be the last thing Bioware ever makes. It would be naively optimistic to try and end it on a sequel hook or plug for the next steps of the franchise; This is their moment to make their magnum opus, hold nothing back, and try to go out on the biggest blowout of Bioware history.

I have a thing where I need to not only recruit all companions, but also make sure they like me. Otherwise I feel like I'm doing it wrong.
Part of the reason I like the idea of rivalry in DAII is because I didn't have to be a people pleaser, even though I take issue with how some of it was implemented.
