The Coffin of Andy and Leyley

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a Psychological Horror Black Comedy adventure game about Andrew and Ashley Graves, two very codependent and dysfunctional siblings living in a Crapsack World where they were sold off by their parents to be harvested for organs. Episode 1 is about the siblings' attempts to survive and escape their captors while being locked up and starved for months, while Episode 2 is about the siblings' attempts to survive on the run, navigating their relationship with each other, and getting revenge on their parents. The game is not for the faint of heart, and features cannibalism, murder, abuse, and extreme codependency resulting in a lot of Incest Subtext.

People might remember the game from a controversy last year where morons doxed the game's creator, Nemlei, driving her to leave social media entirely. However, she continues to add to the game, writing progress reports on Steam. Her latest update took place last Friday, with her saying Episode 3 will soon be ready to launch and trolling the fans a little.◊

Didn't see a thread for this one, so here goes. Has anyone played the game? What do you think of the controversy? Are you excited for the next episode?

Haven't played it, want to, shame about what happened to the creator, and I mostly saw Manlybadasshero playing through it.

Also the incest dream is a meme.

Its visual novel/RPG-makerish so I don't know if I'd really enjoy it.

I found it worth the ten bucks, especially since there's more content coming. There will be things you'll miss if you rely on watching a Let's Play unless the player is extremely thorough. But if you really hate visual novel-style games it might not be for you, yeah.

New dev update. The game is being delayed because of technical limitations in the game editor the team need to work around.

The devs have also released a cutscene from Episode 3. It seems like Andrew only dated Julia to quash rumors he and Ashley were romantically involved.
