Was able to listen to the first web radio episode.
- Looks like it confirmed that Isami's "Where the hell is that song coming from?!" was ad libbed. Ryota Suzuki asked Obari if Isami can hear the music before he did his lines and he said "Yes".
- Not sure if it was Azakami or Suzumura (hard to follow), but one of them did audition for Bravern and Smith.
- Azakami mentioned that there was difficulty of using English when doing his line as Smith.

Hell of an amazing ad-lib, if that's the case!
Episode 4: Isami gets a much needed morale boost. Finally, people buying him drinks for saving their lives.
Lulu is apparently anatomically human, with the only aberrations being an underdeveloped digestive system and a ring of unknown matter embedded in her left hand. So, uhh, what the heck are these Deathdrives, really? All I know is I got a laugh out of the interrogation squad having no clue how to handle Lulu.
Tokyo is burning to the ground. Better get moving, Bravern.
I'mma listen in on web radio episode 2.
The third episode is up. Saya Aizawa's the guest star.
Who's Saya Aizawa?
She's playing Lulu.
Understandable if it’s not clear. Lulu is meant to talk like a baby, since she’s “newborn”.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Listening to the second web radio episode:
- Yohei, Ryota and Suzumura spent the first 10 minutes talking about Obari and the sauna hat... Not sure where that came from. That's before they "officially" started the radio show.
- The trio talked about the German (language) used in the second episode (by Asakawa and Suzumura).
- They lampshade the ED sequence. They mention it being kakkoi (handsome) and interesting... Shame that they didn't really lampshade the ED if (the word) ikemen was used.
- Suzumura had fun with the voice used by Bravern (I suspect it's a modulator). He also said "Chapter 1" like the one in the episode. Also tried to say Chapter 3 in German.
- Suzumura was promoted with the OP sequence. And they once again made fun of themselves in promoting the ED.
Have to say with the recent episode Isami being blatantly jealous of Lulu being all over Lewis is so funny since she’s literally coded as Lewis daughter. The boyfriend being jealous of the kid.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. They're really laying on the BL vibes haha.
Honestly I’m amazed by how much realistic stuff is going on and how much it’s contrasted by the super robot absurdity, especially as it blends so well together when you think it wouldnt. Helps I hear one of the writers know a lot about the military from what I understand. Even Hawaii relies on supply chains which the current crisis has impacted.
Heck someone actually managed to catch in a split second that Isami actually rotated when Lulu punched him to lessen the damage. the things people notice.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yup, this show is striking an impeccable balance between the real- and super robot stuff.
Fifth episode PV up:
Episode 5: I can't believe Lulu killed Isami. Haha, but Lewis is raising her well. On tokusatsu! I eagerly await the moment Lulu becomes a Bravern-like robot for Lewis to pilot. Would that be weird? Whatever, this show already is weird.
Bravern 3D prints action figures in his spare time. What a huge dork, I love him.
Isami and Lewis finally get to relieve the tension between them with a boxing match. Which involved a scene Lewis pushing Isami down to the ground and rubbing up against him. Seriously, just let them kiss already.

Looks like Cupiridas is voiced by Tetsu Inada.
Shiori Izawa - Akira Mishima
Saki Yoshida - Shelley Rolen

Episode 6: Everything was indeed okay. Because Bravern can overwrite the guiding systems of the allied forces' missiles in one fell swoop. It would have been helpful to mention that, Bravern.
The entire exchange between Bravern and Superbia was hilarious. Bravern was so insulted that his badass intro sequence was forgotten haha. Also: thanks to Bravern's magic translation juju, will we finally learn more about the origins of Lulu?
Whats even funnier is that Superbia acting like a Honorable Samurai is hilarious when we saw what was likely underneath that when he insulted Bravern for touching him and making communication easy.
Also adds more mysteries to Bravern since Superbia has no idea who he is, yet he knew him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Sixth PV. I forgot about this.
And it seems more webradio episodes are cranked out. I need to catch up since the fourth episode seemingly (can't tell from thumbnail) has Aizawa again as the guest...
Listening to the third web radio episode.
- The hosts (Yohei and Ryota) grilled Saya's experience in voicing Lulu, especially with using the "ka ga pi" line. Seems like half of the episode is just this. Bravern's one of the few (original) animes that she gets to have a major role.
- The three having a good laugh when they talk about Obari.
- Yohei/Ryota doing a segment called "Bravern, iyada". Not sure what the other parts were spoken (about)... :(
- They (Saya not included) were talking about a male high school student who likes someone and tries to propose... I laughed a bit since they went off-topic and not on Bravern content... I think it's from one of the submitted letters to the show (may have missed more details). I guess that they do this (like most web radio shows in sometimes going off topic just to make the show lively).
- I laughed at a recorded voice of Ryota being played with the "What the hell is this music?!" line.
- Saya spoke about the Wonder Festival that recently took place and she announced it (2/11).
- The release of the show's Blu-Ray was released. Other BB-related vids mention the first released on May.
This show is heckin' genius. Talk about taking the Genre Refugee trope to its logical extreme.
The Deigetic jokes are hilarious!
The mecha and character designs are on point!
And it's so gay!
And the girls get to be perverts too! XD
Honestly someone on Bluesky said "If it was just funny that would be enough to recommend it, but it's funny AND a feast for the eyes." And that true but on top of that it's also got a nice element of mystery to it because seriously what the heck is Bravern.
And I mean that as in the show. A Deconstruction? A reconstruction? A BL? A parody?
Let's find out together I guess.
The funniest thing is learning the character designer is a Yuri artist who is even drawing fanart of the Mama Lewis, Chibi Bravern, and Florist Isami memes.
Edit: Also the Director Ohbari is a long time Mecha anime director and character designer too. Even for Super Robot Wars.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm also wondering if Bravern will ever be explained, or if they will remain a boisterous, lovable enigma.
I still get a kick Bravern made a Man Cave on the military vessel, made human sized figurines with his 3D Printer, AND watched Top Gun to label his cave with his name similar to Top Guns logo.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Oh also for those that don’t know, Smiths birthday was on Valentines Day. Yes that’s right they chose Valentines Day as his birthday/
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
PV for fourth episode.
