For anyone wondering what the story is, this is it:
Troops from all over the world gather on the Hawaiian Islands, and during the battle, US military Titanostride (TS) pilot Lewis Smith meets Self-Defense Force ace pilot Isami Ao. Smith, who witnessed Isami's extraordinary ability through battle, challenges him to a one-on-one battle. However, on the promised day, they are suddenly attacked on a large scale by aircraft of unknown affiliation, and their peaceful days come to an end.
Original Japanese (I got the translation through machine translator):
世界各国の部隊がハワイ諸島に集結し、米軍のティタノストライド(TS)パイロット、ルイス・スミスは戦闘の最中に自衛隊のエースパイロット、イサミ・アオと出逢う。戦闘を通じてイサミの人並外れた実力を目にしたスミスは、彼に一対一の勝負を挑む。しかし約束の日、突如所属不明機による大規模な強襲を受け、平和な日々は終わりを告げる。

Looks like they're going to do web radio component via Youtube.
Aniplus Asia reported on Twitter that they're picking it up with a simulcast on Friday (12th) at 22:30 (GMT +8).
Otherwise, I hear that some people are gonna get the episode from places...

BTW, there's a new trailer. Kenichi Suzumura will voice Bravern.
Bravern OP
With the new trailer and opening, I think it's safe to say that if not directly connected to the Brave Series, Bravern is at the very least a Spiritual Successor.
I mean, you can clearly see elements of Exkaiser in Bravern.
Also, this is one jebait I really do not mind, if you know what I mean. "Sike! You expected a dark war drama, but it's a super robot show!"

Apparently Crunchyroll has belatedly picked it up. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2024-01-12/crunchyroll-to-stream-brave-bang-bravern-cardfight-vanguard-divinez-anime/.206412
Rush job on my part, but Bravern now has a TvTropes page.
Does anyone else here actually know Fighbird beyond the "Is this a pigeon?" meme? There's symphogear technically, but thats been over for 5 years now and just recently has had some announcements, so this will tide me over.
Watch SymphogearWondering if we need to change the trope article title since CR's calling it "Brave Bang Bravern!" for English countries/territories.
Really (honestly) don't know if CR didn't want to get the rights to stream/retail it eventually or if they bungled something and didn't say that they'd get the rights after the show was announced last year.
PS - We got enough material for the character page. Got it up now.

Copy-pasting my thoughts from the Winter 2024 thread:
That might have been one of the most enjoyable premieres of Winter 2024. We start off with some training drills in what seems to be a grounded, real-robot setting... then extraterrestrial mechs attack and none of Earth's weaponry works against them. Then this super robot descends from the skies and starts kicking alien ass. What really sells the sudden switch in tone is that our MC is utterly flabbergasted by the developments. There was a moment when Bravern's uplifting theme song starts playing and the MC shouts as he's juxtaposed with a scene of carnage and despair, "what the hell is this song that's playing?!" Safe to say this has exceeded my expectations.

For those (including yours truly) looking for a Super or Real Robot fix, Masami Obari's doing Bang Brave Bang Bravern. Coming from CygamesPictures.
Here's the official PV.
