Predecessor Casting Gag: "When an actor who once played a certain character is now cast as that character's In-Universe forebearer, usually a parent or mentor, in a remake or other adaptation.

This trope is about the actors, not the narrative. Should it be cut, sent back to the TLP, and relaunched as a Trivia trope?

BTW I am asking here because TRS is full.

We have plenty of "pre-TRS" threads here about discussing potential TRS-worthy problems, though it might have helped if this thread had a less generic name. Also, I don't think converting a regular trope to Trivia or YMMV typically requires cutting and re-TLPing, though not having looked at it there may be something with the examples that would require it.

Oh, really? I always get lost in these forums when I look for a specific thing, so I didn't know what to post this in.

Honestly "Shouldn't this be Trivia" applies to a lot of tropes. Maybe keep this thread open for more questions like that.

To be fair, this is a rather new launch. TRS doesn't often handle those; at the same time, I'm not sure kicking it back to TLP would do anything
